Short excerpt from a YouTube video by Mark Simpson titled "The Best Way to Get Ahead is by Helping Others." In this clip Simpson explains he is joining (or participating in) an accelerator program (referred to as "run like clockwork accelerator program") not to retire but to free time from day-to-day work so he can focus on design, watch webinars, read surveys, understand current demand and trends, and then share that knowledge to help others.

Not doing this run like clockwork accelerator program to take me out of business so I can, you know, sit on the beach, drink my tires and just relax with freakies. That's never going to happen. No, I'm doing this because by taking myself out of doing so much, doing it will give me time to design, to be able to go and watch more webinars, to watch, to read more surveys, to see what the current demand is, to see what the current trends is, and then I can bring it back to you and help you more.
