Mark Simpson travels to Nashville to give what he calls the biggest talk of his life in front of 1,000 people. He's away from his kids longer than ever before, documenting the early morning routine, airport run, and hotel check-in before the event.
This week is the biggest week in my career. Welcome to a day in the life of a traveling CEO. So early start. I didn't want to wake the boys, so I went downstairs, got a coffee, then got in the car and made my way to Manchester airport. I am traveling today to get down to Nashville for what is going to be the biggest talk I've ever done in front of 1,000 people starting today. I'm back on Friday. This is the longest I've ever been away from the boys. The flight was straightforward. Seeing all the faff that's going on at Manchester at the moment in the UK airports. Arrived at a hotel now to get some sleep for what is going to be a busy couple of days.
