This short YouTube video features Mark Simpson explaining "direct booking." He defines direct booking as when a customer books directly with a business (via phone call, text, email, social media message, or through the business's direct-booking website) rather than through intermediaries.
What is direct booking for people who don't exactly know why you might want to do it?
In my opinion, a direct booking is when somebody comes directly to you to make a booking. Now back direct booking could be they give you a call or a text. Maybe they've got the phone number from your website. Or it could be an email, it could be a social media message, or it could be if somebody comes onto your direct booking website.
