This is a YouTube video titled "Why is Design Hard Work?" created on September 6, 2022, discussing the challenges and importance of design work in business, emphasizing the need for vision and resource organization to achieve successful outcomes.
Designing is the vision for the business where we want to move it, and the choreograph or the organization of resources to get there. How do I move us all together to get to this outcome in a way that's successful and supportive of everybody? Design work is hard work, and for an organization, 10% of time should be spent designing, thinking of the future, envisioning. And if you're just the only owner of a business, the only employee in the business, 80% of the time you got to be doing rest time is other 3Ds. The business grows. More and more of your personal time is dedicated to it. But we always keep that balance. Majority of our time, 80% or more doing.
