Hey, everybody, it's Mark C. Winners. And today I want to talk to you about two different scenarios. The first one, I've got a visionary who's thinking about getting an integrator on board. And they're like, man, this integrator thing looks pretty expensive. How can I justify that kind of expense? Second scenario, you've already got an integrator on board and you're looking at maybe developing them or training them, trying to make them even stronger. And it's like, how do I justify that expense? How do I justify investing in this integrator that I have here? So what I want to point out is it's easy to see the cost side of that, but sometimes you have to go looking for the benefit. And ultimately you're trying to weigh the scales of value here to see if the benefits outweigh that price tag that you're looking at. So today I want to give you a really simple process to help you make those benefits more clear so you can see them and see what you're weighing against each other. All right, so step one is I want you to pull together your lists and there's three of them in particular I want you to go find. The first one is your weekly issues list. So it's your short term issues list, it's the one you're looking at in your, in your level 10 meetings. The second one is your long term issues list. So it's probably the one that's on your vto. And then the third list I want you to go find is your wish list. Remember that? The one that you put together with how you want things to be, all the different things that you want that integrator to solve for you. Okay? So now you've got those lists in front of you, and I want you to imagine a future where you have this great integrator that's part of your team. And whether that's somebody that you're bringing in new or whether that's that one that you've got now but just dialed up so that they can really be this great integrator that you've imagined in your mind. Imagine that that future is true. Now, with that future in mind, I want you to go back to those lists and I want you to mark each of those items that you think would be solved if you've got that great integrator as part of your team. Okay? So now that you've got them all marked, go back through that list, and for each one of those that you've got marked, I want you to assign some kind of a dollar value to it. Okay? And think about it, think about what the impact is on your business, think about what the impact is to your life and try to put some kind of a quantitative dollar value. So you've gone through the whole list and you've identified them, you put a value on them, you now the next step is simply to add those up, add all those numbers up and see what that total is. Now what I'll tell you from my experience is people are really surprised by how big that number can get and a lot of times it's way bigger than they expected and they just didn't realize that it was that way. And then I want you to keep that number, whatever it is, keep that number in mind when you're looking at those price tags. What it costs to bring an integrator on board or to invest in them to make them truly great. Alright, so three key points to wrap this one up today. First one, identify the issues from those lists that would be addressed by having a great integrator on your team. Second thing, add them up. So put a dollar value on each one of those items and add up that total. Third key point for today is keep that figure in mind as you're making decisions about investing in your integrator.
