Hey, everybody, it's Mark C. Winters. So I've gotten this question about why the visionary is always above the integrator on the accountability chart. Some people have asked, well, if they're a partnership, shouldn't they be side by side? So first, I want you to remember we don't prescribe an org chart, and that may be how you're looking at this. Instead, we teach the accountability chart in eos. The key difference between that and an org chart is the accountability chart doesn't care about levels. The accountability chart doesn't have any political hierarchy baked into it. The simple objective of the accountability chart is to provide absolute clarity around what needs to get done and who's responsible for doing it. The accountability chart shows how accountability flows between the folks on the chart to make sure that things happen. The fact that the visionary appears above the integrator simply means the visionary holds the integrator accountable for getting their stuff done. In turn, the owner's box holds the visionary accountable for getting their stuff done. The accountability chart calls out that single line to create true accountability. That way there's no opportunity for any confusion and the team will run much more effectively. So, three key points. Number one, let go of levels and titles and political hierarchy. Two, get crystal clear on what needs to get done, who's going to do it, and who's going to hold them accountable for doing it. And three, keep sending in great questions like this one.
