It's been so lovely to see, like, you know, all the tags and the shares by everyone as well. It's been like a real community spirit. I've absolutely loved reading your gratitude lists as well, like every single day, every single morning. Because I think it really does prove that we have so much to be grateful for in this world. And I mean, sharing those gratitude lists, that took some courage as well, because some of them were really, really personal to them people as well. And when you've been sharing it, I think it's made other people like realize like, oh my God, I can be grateful for that as well. Do you know what I mean? Right, so today's episode, I don't know if some of you saw last week, but I put a little story on me Instagram just asking you lot to ans— like, ask some questions, basically. And by God, did you ask your questions. I had over 700 at one point. So I'm going to do me best to answer ones that were most popular, like, that most people asked, and/or things that I'm not sure if I've ever covered on the pod before. But to be honest, I got lots of questions like, you know, 'How do I manifest?' or 'How do I know what my limiting beliefs are?' or 'Has your mom started working with you yet?' or 'When does the Academy open?' And I'm like, girl, do you even listen to this podcast? Anyway, let's get cracking. Shelly asked, 'What are crystals and how can they help us in life?' And I think I have probably covered this, but I probably covered it in some way, shape, or form, but I know we've got a boatload of new listeners this last month, so Let's take it away. So we all know by now that everything in this universe is energy. That's science, okay? Everything has a makeup of energy in some way, shape, or form. So crystals basically act as a kind of power hold for healing, kind of like a phone battery if you'd like to think of it that way, because they allow positive and exciting energy to flow into the body and do away with the negative toxic shite, basically. They work by channeling your energy levels, and they focus on healing your body from the inside out. So some people also think that crystals carry the power to induce a placebo effect on the body, which is scientifically proven to help medical treatment. Like, you've probably heard of the placebo effect, when someone's given, like, a placebo medication and all of a sudden, miraculously, they've recovered from that disease that they were suffering from, because the body is an amazing thing. But overall, crystals have their own particular vibration and frequency, and that arises from their unique molecular composition. So from the way that they move around and interact, these vibrations are kind of energies work in benefiting and uplifting our mood and our mind and our health in a considerable manner. So it's often in the way that, you know, like essential oils and aromatherapy work. We're all open to, you know, going for an aromatherapy massage if we had the chance to, aren't we? So why is crystal healing any different? And that's how I see it. It's acting like a magnet because crystals can absorb the negative energies and they'll welcome fresh vibes into your life. And since they're all naturally extracted from the earth, they're going to harness the energies of the sun, the moon, the oceans, everything that's kissed this land because we all know that they're all natural healing energies and they therefore improve our state of mind. So when you place or you hold a crystal over your body, that's going to interact with the body's chakras. It's going to promote physical and mental wellness. So if you use them in a certain way, they can also improve your concentration and your creativity, and it can also promote physical, emotional, spiritual cleansing. But not only that, crystals vibrate at the same pitch as us humans, so they maximize the healing abilities that we already have within our bodies. So all they do is uplift the positive energy deep within us. And because of this comforting feeling, when you place a crystal on your body, it's going to help you to connect better and feel more at ease. Okay, so most people will quite happily buy a crystal and then not know what to do with it. So when it comes to like cleansing and charging, there are a few different ways. If you check out my Instagram, I post this quite often, uh, but it really does depend on you and how you do it. Because one of the most popular ways is to either use, you know, the energy of the sun or the energy of the full moon, because both bodies are said to supercharge your crystals and cleanse them as well. But some people like to pass their crystals through smoke from an incense stick or sage, or some like to visualize a white light encapsulating the crystal in the hand. Some, like me, like to use a Tibetan singing bowl and let the sound wash away the impurities. Some will bury them overnight in the back garden. Personally, I couldn't be done with all them holes being dug up in my back garden. But some take them to the beach with them to wash them in the sea, and I often do this in the summer. But it's all down to you, and I say this all the time about spiritual practices. It's whatever feels best intuitively to you, okay? So when it comes to caring for and working with your crystals, again, whatever works best for you. Some people store them on shelves around their houses. Some people keep them in a bowl. Some people keep them in their bra just to be around their energy because most women don't have pockets on their trousers. But when it comes to working with crystals, I don't think you can just leave them to sit on a shelf in your house and expect them to work day in, day out for all eternity. That's what most people do, and then they'll pass crystal healing off as, you know, I've tried that, didn't work. Like anything else, you've got to put in some form of work, some form of effort, okay? So like I mentioned earlier, we've got to look at these as though they're mobile phone batteries, for example. Sooner or later, they're going to need charging. So if you left your mobile phone for a month on a shelf in your bedroom, do you really think you're still going to be receiving calls and texts? No, your battery's going to be dead. You're going to need to give it a bit of love, stick it on charge, you know, whack it on a charger. So as a general rule of thumb, maybe once a week or so, I'll go around me house with an incense stick. I'll blow smoke across all me crystals, or I'll wander around the house playing a Tibetan singing bowl just to refresh the energy of the crystals. And I'll give them a boost of life. Okay, so once a month I'll then sit with them in me hands just a few moments, and I like to close me eyes and just visualize with them, and sometimes even speak to them, telling them what I want them to help in my life with. And that's classed as setting your intentions, because I think that there's something, you know, so powerful about speaking your intentions to your crystals and just letting it know where you want it to help in your life. You might look like a nut job, but honestly, it really does work. So for everything I do in my day-to-day life, I manage to incorporate crystals in some way, shape, or form. So if I go in the bath, I've got crystals for relaxation all around us, like amethyst, howlite, celestite. On my desk at work, right in front of us right now, I've got crystals to increase productivity and creativity, you know, like clear quartz, aquamarine, carnelian. Then I've spoke about this before, but in my car I've got tourmaline, black jasper, black obsidian. They're all highly grounding and protective crystals. So while I'm out on the road, I I can drive around knowing that I'm protected from everything else. And I mean, you can imagine what me house is like. I'm a big believer in feng shui. I've done a few episodes on this, um, but I've got wealth and abundance crystals in my wealth corner. I've got selenite to cleanse above me front door. I've got labradorite behind the front door to transmute negative energy into positivity. I don't think there's a room in me house that has less than 2 crystals in it, like even me toilets. So hope that answered your question. In a nutshell, that's what crystal healing is. That's how they can help us in life. You can incorporate them into as many different avenues, as many different ways as you can possibly think of. But like I say, it's all down to you intuitively. It's all down to what feels best for you. And that's— that goes for any spiritual practice, not just crystal healing. So next up, what have we got? Let me just have a quick scroll through. Michael has asked, is moldavite really as scary as people make out? What happens? I'm so scared to try it— so sorry, so scared to buy it, but I keep seeing people living their best lives with it. Help! So I've done an episode on Moldavite before, but I haven't really gone into it in massive depth. I can't remember if I did or not. Anyway, personally, I don't think it's scary because I use it every day. I've got one around my neck. I've got a piece that I work with every day. And I think the main reason that people do find it scary is because of a TikTok video that went viral a few years back. There was a girl claiming, "Don't buy this crystal, it'll rule your life." Okay, trust me when I say this. No crystal gives off bad energy, okay? No crystal can be cursed. No crystal can give you that negativity in your life. They simply imbue and enhance the energy that we already store within our bodies. So this girl on TikTok basically claimed that within a month of working with moldavite, you know, she'd lost her job, her boyfriend had broke up with her, she'd had to move out of the house that she had with him. She was at rock bottom. I can't remember the exact story, but it was something along those lines. And then just a month later, she put another video on which didn't go viral, ironically, how ironic, um, about how she was then hired for the job of her dreams on almost double her salary. She was so glad because she found out her boyfriend was cheating on her. She was left a hefty lump sum of like an inheritance from one of her grandparents earlier that year that enabled her to try and get a mortgage on her dream home. But basically the damage was already done from that first video, okay? So more people saw that than the other one. I think the first video, for example, had something ridiculous like 9 million views on TikTok, and then it'll have been shared all over Instagram and Facebook and Reddit, you know what I'm saying? The second video that she put out stating that all the good things that had happened had had 100,000 views. And I think one of the main reasons for that is that when something bad happens to us, it's, it's statistically like we, we will tell something like 10 people about a bad experience. But if a good experience happens, statistically we only tell one person about that. So basically the bad bad experience that she'd had had spread like wildfire across social media. So what I'm trying to say is it's going to be an intense ride because people see Moldavite as a time accelerator, okay? So what might have taken you years to notice, come to terms with, and benefit from, it all will happen to you within a few short weeks. And I don't want to say it's the ultimate fertility crystal either, but I think I'm on my 8th Canny Crystal baby now from customers who've worked with it and fallen pregnant. Um, just putting that out there as a caveat. Be careful, ladies, close your legs. Um, But seriously, the change it's made in my life has been astronomical. Because when you think about it, it's mad to think that just 12 months ago I was still working in the NHS 9 to 5. I was still running Canny Crystals in my spare time, earning maybe a grand a month on top of my NHS wage. And now I've got my own office here in the Quayside in Newcastle. I turn over 6 figures, which, to put this into context, is more in just one month than I was earning in an entire year working for the NHS. I had a Range Rover Velar on my vision board like all last year as one of my, you know, materialistic goals, and I go to pick that up in 4 weeks' time. Me and my partner— well, I think this is an exclusive actually, I haven't even told my mom yet, so hope she doesn't listen, she won't, um, but this week me and my partner have formally filed for adoption. I was featured in Vogue last month. I also did a talk to hundreds of business owners about achieving your goals last month. That was massive for me because I would never in a million years have thought I could do public speaking, but I loved every second. And I honestly put it all down to really working with crystals, working with moldavite, spirituality, self-development. It all intertwines. I had a lot of self-limiting beliefs and self-doubt creeping in daily on the lead-up to going self-employed, for example. But I knew in my gut that this was the next natural step for me. So my NHS work started becoming really tedious and almost boring. I was trying to work out daily how much I needed to make to basically support and take the leap to support myself. So for the first 12 months, I was working 2 full-time jobs, which was hard. I was starting work at 6 AM, finishing 10 PM, 7 days a week. So when I told my family I was leaving the NHS, you know, I was met with things like, "You can't leave the NHS to sell rocks," from my nana, or, "Martin, you've got a mortgage to pay," from my mum. And I get it. Like I say, we came from nothing, no money at all, but all this was them laying their fears and their concerns down. And I always go back to that saying, when someone says jump, because my family would always say, but what if you fall? Whereas I'm more of the mindset of, but what if I fly? Okay, so I think the first month that I left the NHS, my sales obviously hit rock bottom. They hit the worst that they had been since opening because the universe was testing me. Okay, the more I read into that, the more I realized that was because I was panicking. I was hitting that desperation mentality, and I was trying to manifest sales from a place of, oh my God, what if I get no sales? And what happened? I got no sales. I started working with my life coach, Jude Dawn, here in Newcastle, and she really helped me to thrash these limiting beliefs and see that I am more than enough. And the sales started to roll in again. And I think that that was partly to do with also working with Moldavite. So it's not scary. I think some people think it is, but some of the, like, the amazing things that my customers have achieved through Moldavite— someone even won their whole wedding package paid for. So next question, Emma asked, what have been your biggest transformations with crystals? So like I say, when I started working daily with my moldavite, I would literally receive, you know, like little downloads of ideas from the universe., and one day I got this idea of, you know, I'm going to message Fran from Law of Attraction Changed My Life and just ask basically outright to be on her podcast. She had the number one podcast for self-improvement at the time. We'd messaged a couple of times before. She seemed pretty friendly, so I just went for it. I chewed the frog. I took that inspired action. I got that as a little download from, you know, just the universe telling me like, just go for it. So then 2 weeks later, there I am driving to her house. We recorded an episode of her podcast, an episode of my podcast. On the Friday that both episodes came out, I remember waking up to over 100 orders. And I was like, oh my God, it's 7 AM. What the hell? And that month I hit my first £30,000 month. Things just haven't gone back since then. That was 9 months ago. And I honestly thank Fran for all, like, all the time because it changed my business and she really helped me grow. And I tell her that all the time.

Every home. And I guess being able to pay off all my debt as well, to have £30,000 sat untouched in my business bank account, pay myself a wage, that was all massive for me. And I give all my credit to, you know, carrying around these amazing crystals for wealth, like pyrite, citrine, green aventurine, jade, all absolutely amazing for luck, prosperity, and abundance. And believe me when I say I carry them around everywhere. They go everywhere with me. I've nearly had them confiscated at the airport on holiday when I couldn't speak Spanish. You know, I think I've spoke about this before. I tried to tell a lady that there were crystals. She probably thought I was talking about crystal meth. But yeah, what else have I manifested? My partner was never ever really interested in getting married, and back in early 2020, a couple of weeks before the first lockdown, I was using strawberry quartz for your one true love to show that passion, that burning desire for you. And just like that, he got down on one knee and proposed to me totally out of the blue. Wasn't expecting it. So yeah, I've manifested some amazing, like, things through crystals and had some amazing transformations. And I hope that, that all my stories come across on, you know, TikTok, on my podcast, on my social media, on Instagram, things like that. I hope you can all see all these massive transformations because they are massive. Okay, so next, what have we got? Fiona asked, can you remember the first crystal that you started out with? And if someone's wanting to crystals, what would you advise that they start with? Okay, so I basically started, you probably remember my story if you listened to my first episode, is it on my first episode? I think it is. Anyway, go listen to some past episodes. I started with basically a little tumblestone pack from Carly in Liverpool, and they included, you know, very basic and starter crystals like the ones you hear of most, rose quartz, amethyst, clear quartz, citrine, and I think it was green aventurine as well. And I actually sell a beginner's bundle on me website that includes 7 chakra tumblestones, a crystal bracelet, a crystal necklace, and a self-love rose quartz heart too. Because I know meself how overwhelming it can be when you're new to crystals. But I think if you start with something like that bundle and you start small and you're working with a handful of crystal, it's going to introduce you into a whole new world. Yeah. And then once you start to feel the benefit of those crystals, trust us, you won't ever want to go back. And I think personally, I've spoke about this before, but I think the more you put into a situation, the more you're going to get out of it. So working with crystals, like, put them into your daily routine, see how that improves your gratitude process. Still do your gratitude, but see how the crystals can enhance it, okay? Because sooner or later, all your efforts will snowball until they start rolling. And that's why I like to pair, you know, using crystals with other things like doing gratitude lists, listening to subliminal affirmations. Again, I sell these on my website for just £3. You can get them on things like attracting your soulmate, stopping smoking, losing weight, raising your wealth and abundance. And I think pairing crystal healing with something like that makes it twice as quick for your manifestations to kind of come to fruition in those areas. So I hope that answered your question, Fiona. Thank you. Next up, we've got Kelly. Oh, this is quite fitting. Kelly asked, what are subliminals? So some people don't know what I mean by subliminal affirmations, but I sell them on my website, cannycrystals.uk. There is a big explanation on there as well, um, but you can buy them for just £3, and they are basically audio messages that are played in the background of calming music, like waves crashing, or it might be a gentle piano with the noise of a river in the forefront. But these affirmative statements are the kind of messages that bypass our conscious minds and they'll get directly to our subconscious. So subliminals are specifically created below the normal limits of human auditory perception. So they bypass the conscious mind. We can't hear them directly. Okay? They get straight to the point and that's our subconscious. So we can't hear them. These are hidden positive affirmations and they fall directly into the deepest pits of our mind. And that'll then accept those statements as the truth because it's in our head. So I challenge myself daily to listen to subliminal affirmations every single day, and this is perfect for me because to listen to subliminals, it requires you no extra time. You can listen to them on your headphones as you go for a walk with the dog. You can have them on while you get ready for work on a morning. You can listen to them while you go and have a relaxing bath. Yeah? You can do the housework, you can cook, you can clean, you can do your normal day-to-day work all whilst listening to subliminals. And these subliminal messages are going deep into your subconscious. So on my subliminal affirmation downloads, for example, they're all 1 hour long. You can get them for wealth and abundance, self-esteem, joy and purpose, losing weight, stopping smoking, whatever it is. You'll only hear calm and gentle music. You might very, very lightly hear my voice in the background, but your subconscious is picking up that auditory cue of me repeating them 100 affirmations of, you know, like, money flows easily to me without effort, for example, from the abundance one. Or it might be, I am happy and joyous in my life. Everything I do has a greater purpose and meaning. You get the drift. But these are so, so powerful at reprogramming your mind without conscious thought. And seriously, go on my website because the 5-star reviews I've had on these are wild. Read some of the stories underneath them. Honestly, go check them out for yourself. Some people have reported getting backpaid checks, maintenance payments from people they haven't spoken to in years, just general windfalls, for example, from the abundance one. And that isn't just woo-woo, that's science, okay? So listen to subliminals whenever you can. You can find free ones on YouTube, but quite honestly, I don't 100% trust them. They could be telling you anything. They could be telling you to smoke more. It could be made by like Marlboro or something. Sorry, Marlborough, if you're listening. Um, but yeah, at least I'm a kind of, you know, a trusted source, and all of mine have been recorded by me, so I know what's being said in them. Okay, so go and check them out. Lewis has asked, um, how do I visualize with my crystals? So to use crystals in meditation, I simply just find somewhere that I'm not going to be disturbed. I'll place a crystal in the palm of my hand, and I'll just direct my attention in tune with my breath. Next, I'll visualise what it is that I'm trying to manifest. So for example, if you're looking to make enough money to pay off all your debts, then instead of seeing your debt receipts being cleared, I think it's better to visualise yourself feeling comfortable whilst paying other people. So see yourself as living a happy, healthy, and comfortable life. You know, tipping a waiter, giving the window cleaner an extra fiver, and so on. Then I'll ask the universe for guidance, like almost like I'm in prayer, as to what active steps I need to then take from my side. And then I end up by thanking the universe for giving me that little 5 minutes of peace. And I think the main takeaway from this is that I always remember that we can only do our part of the actions, okay, to the best of our ability, and many complex forces of life in the universe they are what ultimately determine the final result, okay? We have to follow the cues of the universe. Nobody's gonna win the lottery by not buying a ticket, yeah? You've got to put something in action. You've got to purchase the ticket to be in the draw. You've got to be in it to win it. And also added just this week actually in the downloadable content section of my website, I've also put a downloadable audio of connecting with your crystal. It's a 23-minute meditation, I think, because Lots of people have requested it, so go and check it out. But that'll help you, you know, visualize them with your crystals, connecting with your crystals. Because crystals, basically, like I said, they're just enhancing that energy that you have within you. So if you're visualizing about receiving more money, choose a crystal that's going to support that, like citrine or pyrite or jade, or, you know, just a money crystal basically. So you're going to sit that with that in your hand, that's going to enhance all that energy, and it's going to bring that to fruition for you. Stacy asked— oh, okay, Stacy the Size Queen, should I call her? She has asked, does size really matter? Now Stacy, you honestly wouldn't believe how many times I'm asked this question every single day, either by direct message or email or face-to-face. And I'm going to tell you exactly the same as what I tell everyone else. It's not the size that matters, it's how you use it. So thinking logically about this, most smaller crystals are broken from larger ones anyway, okay, through mining or when they're being carved or, you know what I'm saying. Even though they're smaller, they're still going to imbue that crystal-specific energy. So like I say, it's how you use it because when you think about it, most large crystals are used for things like decoration around the home, or they'd be placed on someone's desk for them to feel the energy throughout the day whilst they sit there and work. Or they might be placed in a bathroom like what I was saying earlier to feel peace and calm whilst I'm having a luxurious bath. But large crystals aren't practical, okay? So if I was working with a crystal, for example, I would want it with me all day every day for maybe a week or two until I felt as though my work with that crystal had been completed and I was at optimum energy from it. So I would want something more like, you know, a crystal chip bracelet. Bracelet or a crystal pendant around me neck or a tumblestone that I could hold in me pocket or a heart or a carving or whatever it is. I wouldn't want to be carrying around a huge 20 kilo pointed tower for fear of breaking it, fear of getting a bad back, you know what I'm saying. Be sensible about it, okay. Although larger crystals are, you know, cool, they obviously have a lot of energy, they're not practical to work with. So like I say, it's not the size that matters, it's how you use them. So I hope that answers your question, Stacy the Size Queen, as you will now be known. And one last question, because I think we're getting up to about half an hour. We have one last question. Oh, which one should I go with? Let's go with this one from Joanne. How do you consistently reach your goals? So I find that where we go wrong is that we set meaningless goals. Okay. So by that, I mean, we want all these materialistic things. That deep down inside don't really mean anything to us. So it's alright saying, "I wanna lose a stone by the summer," but unless there's feeling behind that specific goal, the chance is you'll probably fail. Okay. So instead, what I like to do is I draw a table at the start of each month, and one side I'll write the word "goals," the other side I'll write "meaning." So I might say, you know, instead of, "I want to lose a stone by summer," I might write, "I wanna lose the stone by summer," but then on the other side, under the meaning column, I'll write, "Because when I have children next year, I'm not going to have much time on me hands. So by kick-starting my health goals right now, I'm giving meself a head start and being the best possible parent that I can be for my child." Does that make sense? So that meaning and that cause of why I wanna achieve that goal, that's what pushes me to strive for my goal with more determination and focus. So questions you can ask yourself when setting goals, things like, What are you willing to do to get there? What do you— what does it mean to you? Why do you want that specific goal? How is that specific goal going to benefit you? What does that end result look like to you? What one small action could you implement today to put you on track? So when you do that, you write it all down, and I promise you, it'll spur you on to achieve what you want to achieve in your life. So create that vision board, but create it with passion and meaning like I've just said, and you'll get everything you want in life because of your determination and willpower. The best crystal that I find to help assist with that is Tiger's Eye because it's all about enhancing willpower and strengthening determination. So work with Tiger's Eye when you're doing goal setting, and honestly, it will enhance your goal setting, like objectives, you'll reach them 10 times quicker.
