Show rate and no-show rate aren't the same thing. Appointments split into four categories: shows, no-shows, cancellations, and reschedules. Cancellations usually mean reputation problems, while reschedules happen when you book people into times that don't work for them, like weekday afternoons for parents. Fix each problem separately.

There's a big difference between show rate and no-show rate, and most of you don't really understand the difference, and I'm going to explain to you why. Just because they don't show up doesn't mean they're a no-show. There are distinct categories and they all mean different things. You got people that show up, then you got people that no-show, which is you heard nothing, they just didn't show. Then you've got cancellations, then you've got reschedules. A cancellation is usually due to online reputation. So reschedules are a lot of the time booking people into times that they think they can do but they can't. Let's just say you sell to women who have children, so moms. Okay, and you book people in at 3:30 in the afternoon. Now they might think, okay, I'll get, uh, mother-in-law to pick up the kids that day, but they can't, right? So it's a difficult time for them to do, but like you're just pushing people in to do those times because that's what's available. Also, maybe you don't have weekend times, or maybe you book people too far out in advance, okay? Like these are common issues. Have a look and see if there are any times that are commonly rescheduled. Are there any times that are commonly canceled? Are there times that are commonly no-showed? Because maybe they're just shitty times and you shouldn't put people in those times. So the no-show, the show, the reschedule, the cancellation are all separate problems and have separate symptoms and you should treat them differently. So just going about a blanket, we have a 50% no-show rate. It's, I fucking seriously doubt that. So you had zero reschedules and you're just oversimplifying a rather complex problem.
