This is a YouTube video titled "Have To Talk Partner First | Prospect Says" containing a monologue or single-speaker discussion from May 16, 2023. The speaker discusses strategies for handling objections related to prospects needing to consult their partners before making decisions, focusing on probing the nature of the conversation and planning follow-ups.
Do you feel like this would be the answer for you? Yes, it would. Okay, do you mind telling me why? So if the person says, well, you know, I would need to get the permission, kind of go, okay, so is this more of an FYI conversation? Is this a permission based conversation? Either way is cool. I just kind of want to know which one we're going for here. And if they're like, oh, it's more of an FYI. My spouse is usually on board with X, Y and Z. And, you know, I'm the one who ultimately makes the decisions, but I want to make sure that I run it by them first and go, okay, that's fine. And I suppose what do you have? What happens if you go to your partner and they don't have the context of this conversation? You haven't really told them about all these issues and how it's impacting you? What happens if they say no? They say, well, I will never move forward without my partner's permission. Then from there you want to probe a little bit deeper to make sure it's real and then book a follow up with the spouse, generally speaking. Right. Because that's a proper logistical objection. You need to get down to the truth of that matter because most people will move forward without their partners.
