HE says nothing but YES, but never buys... ARRRGGHHH

This is a YouTube video titled "HE says nothing but YES, but never buys... ARRRGGHHH" created on July 30, 2020. The content is a detailed call review involving multiple speakers including 'Matt' (likely Matt Ryder), Edwin (a potential client), a fitness coach, and a sales coach. The video analyzes a sales call where Edwin is considering purchasing a high-ticket fitness program. The discussion covers sales techniques, client motivations, objections, and pricing strategies, with Matt providing commentary and coaching insights throughout the call. The context is a sales training or coaching session focused on improving closing techniques and understanding client psychology.
Hey, guys, Matt here. And today what I'm doing is a call review. So I don't know if you'll be able to hear it, but that's all right because we can put that back in post. But yeah, so we're gonna do. Is it gonna be. Listen to this call. This guy's name is Morrow. He's selling a high ticket fitness program. And yeah, we'll just hit play and then I might fast forward a few things and kind of go from there. I've already listened to most of this call, so. But yeah, let's go. They just done a bit of an intro.
That's it exactly.
But now it's getting better. Things are opening up. Tourists are allowed in by the end of the month. So, yeah, almost back to normal.
Okay, good. Good to hear that.
Yeah.
I'm sorry.
No, I was just asking. Everything fine with you and. Yeah, with you and.
I, I don't, I don't like chit chat at the beginning of the call. I think, like it sets the frame that you're not in control.
I don't need.
You think you need to set an agenda necessarily. You can. I don't. It doesn't mean you can't, but it's just like, hey, man, like, what are we. What are we here to do? Like, what did you hope to get out of the call today? Let's. Let's get amongst it type stuff. That's how I kind of like to roll.
All right.
Your environment with what's going on. Yeah.
Thank God everybody has stayed safe. We are following protocols and making sure that everybody is, you know, is following the rules to make sure that we all stay safe.
That's good.
All right, so at the time recording this is like real deep into the coronavirus stuff. So always good to bring it up, but you just don't want to dwell on it.
Good to hear that. Awesome. So let's talk a little bit about your fitness and health. Dive a little bit deeper into there, also your lifestyle and really see what you need. Are you okay if I ask you a few questions on where you are right now and also where you want to be?
Yeah, absolutely.
Awesome. And then by the end of the call, if I can see that I can help you and we both think it's a fit and we can talk about working together.
Okay, Sounds like a plan.
Awesome.
Okay. It's not something that I would say, but it's not a bad thing to say. It's setting a frame.
Right.
I don't like doing it. I think that it puts sales resistance onto people where they feel like they have to make a decision at the end of the call. But again, it's really Conceica console on that one. It's not my style, but it's not a bad thing to do.
So I've took some notes here from both the messenger conversation or Instagram conversation we had, and also the application you filled out. You said you want to drop, you know, 30 to 40 pounds and ultimately achieve about the goal of 185 pounds. Is that correct?
Yeah, I think that, you know, that's a pretty good weight for me, for my body.
Okay. So when you pick the £185, like, is there a specific reason for that or. Or why not, for example, 175 or 195.
It's too early to be asking those questions. Right. So I understand what he's trying to do, but it's. It's too early.
Right.
And so what it's going to do is like, you're sort of only going to get half answers or surface level answers.
Right.
And so what you do is you take that initial goal and then you use that and then you chunk it down later in the actual call. So you kind of go, okay, surface goal, level 2, level 3. As you go, as you earn the owner, you got to earn the vulnerability.
Right.
Well, I was. I did many years in the military service, and that was. I feel that looking back at my health and my body, between 182 and 188 were the best times that I felt physically, you know, in my younger days. So I would like to get back to around that area. So I picked 185 because I was like, right in the middle.
So the 185 reminds you basically of your reality.
Yeah, yeah. And again, I was pretty fit, pretty, pretty healthy. Physically, I looked really good. So, you know, that's the goal. If I can achieve that with a little bit more weight, that's fine. If I need to drop a little bit more to achieve it, then, you know, I'll adjust as necessary. But right now it's what I think would suit me best.
That makes sense. Good. And what's your current weight?
215.
215. Okay, good.
Establishing the gap.
Right.
Good to go. So knows where he is, knows where he wants to be.
So help me understand a little bit more. Like, what have you tried so far or in the past to get down there, if anything?
In. In reality, I really haven't tried much. A few years Ago, I kind of felt that my weight was getting up there. But when I thought about doing something about it, it just so happened that I injured my back. So obviously those plans were put in the back burner. So then I, you know, just recently, you know, I have been feeling, you know, with a lot of weight again, and especially with this, with this quarantine and everybody being at home, not really going out, not doing anything, you know, I see that I've put on more weight. So I want, you know, I started like, like two weeks ago. Like two and a half weeks ago, I started doing intermittent fasting and that's worked pretty well. I'm down to. When I started out, I was at 226. I'm down to 215. So it's, you know, it's, it's working. But I know that I need more than just, you know, fasting. I know that I need a healthy lifestyle. I know that I need to incorporate exercises and.
Alrighty, so just pause it there. They're just sort of gone over some stuff. It's all relatively surface level. So I'm just sort of skipping forward a bit.
In, in your goals of being a professional Chako player?
Sure. Is that what he wants to be?
That, that.
Okay, that's very cool. I, I want that as well. When, when I was younger. Yeah.
Yeah.
But then I got an injury. Yeah.
He's just talking about his kids, wants to be professional soccer players. Who wants to be able to keep up with them.
The dream was over. Oh, yeah, but that was pretty good. But yeah, I don't want to brag about it. So when you say yeah, after 30 minutes or so, you know, you, you feel a little bit more tired and you're out of breath.
He's basically saying here that, like, the whole, that whole last few minutes was like, he feels really unfit. He doesn't feel good about himself. He doesn't feel like he can keep up with his kids. Yada, yada, yada. Right. So he's getting like some good information.
Out of playing sock with your kids?
Yes.
Do they say anything or what, what happens then, like, you go back home?
Oh, no, no, no, no. It's just a matter of me resting a few minutes, having some water, and then I can continue again, you know, But I gotta, I gotta catch my breath. I gotta stop a 5, 10 minutes. Let me catch my breath. Let me relax a little bit. I don't want to do that. You know, I want to be able to, to, to go, you know, 45 minutes, an hour two hours out there running around and, and, and practicing and playing with him.
I can understand. Yeah. So when you said with Andrew, pause also you want to. Yeah. You want to reverse that. You want to look better for yourself also for your wife. Like, has that had an impact on your relationship?
Well, you know, it has. You know, the focus, the desires, the ability is not the same as it was, you know, 15 years ago. And you know, my wife is actually not only beautiful, but she's very physically fit. You know, she, she goes to the gym every day. So I want to be able to, for her just like I am proud of her and how well she looks and how good she takes care of herself. You know, I want her to be proud of me too, and how I look, you know? You know, and how I take care of myself too. You know, I've let myself go for.
One of the things he's doing really well here is he's, he, he's using silence and letting him talk. That can go badly if you don't rein them in.
Right.
But like he's opening up and you can tell right from the very beginning of the call, he doesn't like silence. So he fills it with words.
Right.
And you can see that right from the very beginning if you sort of rewind to the very start of the call. And so by letting him talk, you're going to get to the bottom of things pretty quickly. Mirroring would probably work quite well as well, but yeah, too long.
I need to get back to taking care of myself.
Good. And does your wife know that we are on this call here or is it more like a little secret mission?
No, no, no, she knows.
That's a great line. I actually told him that line. So it disarms the person.
Right.
It also gives you an idea of the, like, it starts, start. You start to pre frame the partner. Objection. Which is an incredibly important thing to do if you know somebody's married or has a partner.
She knows. I told her.
Okay, and what did she say?
Is she, she's very supportive. Yeah. She wants me to, to, to get back in shape to, you know, to take care of myself.
Yeah. And the reason I'm asking is because I found like there are two very crucial factors in order for someone to get the result, and one of them is your environment. So if your environment is supportive people who live with you, around you, they're supportive, they want you to move forward, they want to help you move forward, then yes, that's going to help. So that's the main factor here. And yet the second one is what I found is like stress and pressure. Just a second. There's some noise in the background. Like, can you hear it? No, on your end. Like some buttons they're pushing.
Oh, no, that's probably from my kids playing outside.
Okay. Okay. So the second factor is like stress and pressure also in terms of work. How does that look like there for you?
That's an awkward way of putting it. It could be a language thing. But in terms of work, how does that look like for you? You need to be, I think, more direct. Like, obviously the world is a crazy time, you know, at the time we're doing this is coronavirus everywhere. So be like, are you guys okay? How's, like, how's your work been affected? It was like trying to dance around it too much.
Well, I, it's. I'm in finance, so, you know, it's. Especially nowadays with the economies, how things are going. So, you know, it could get very stressful, you know, but. But I try to not let that affect me as much. You know, when I need to walk away from the computer and just not focus on how, my God, you know, look at the market, the market is going down or whatever, then I do that. You know, I've learned that I can't let work control me like that.
That's a good mindset. I used to do banking as well a few years ago, so also had to do a lot with trading. Yeah. Okay, you work in a bank or just like independent trading?
I work for a broker.
Okay. And so during these uncertain times, you know, where everyone is a little bit more scared and wants to wait till everything is over, how do you, how do you feel about investing into yourself, your health, your well being during these times?
Well, I feel good. I feel that I need to do it. That's why, that's why I'm here on the, on this phone.
I could have gone really badly, but it went about as well as it can go. I feel like it was too early in the call. Maybe not too early, but like too early in the. It wasn't the right time for that. Not really a timing thing in terms of like minutes, but I feel like that could have gone really badly and that could have been the call right there had you not really laid the cost of an action. He's definitely come out with a few things that make him seem like he's super keen and that he really wants to do it, but I don't know. I would have done that later on down the track after I'd done some cost of in action things.
Cool. Because it's something I know that I need to do and I'm ready to devote the time to do it. Especially if it's not something where it's not a lifestyle that I can continue. If it's something where, okay, well, we're going to be drastically dieting or your workout plan is three hours a day, six days a week in the gym. I can't live that lifestyle, so I can't continue. So I wouldn't even want to start it because it would make no sense for me. The idea for me is to make things as simple and easy to follow as possible where I can devote time to work, I can devote time to my family, I can devote time to me, you know, so if, if, if the plan does not help me accomplish that, then it's, it's no good to me because I need, I need to be able to do all those three things.
Because his tone is very good. It's very meaningful for him. You can tell he really doesn't. He's not impressed with himself at the moment. And I think he knows what he wants. It'll be interesting to see how he reacts to price and that kind of stuff at the end. But like at the moment he's, he's really sort of a. He's giving a lot of good signals, not none. Like he's giving buyers signals. Not in a way where it's like I really want to do it. But he's, he's got like, he knows what he wants. He's got no skepticism.
Those are the three things that are important in my life. You know, my, my family and obviously my work. I mean, I need to be able to provide, right? So I can't do without those two. And ultimately me, you know, I have to be greedy. Me, I'm important because if I'm not healthy, if I don't take care of me, then I won't do as good working. And if I don't do as good working, I can't be the good father, the good husband. I can't be, you know, everything a puzzle. Everything falls together. So if, if the plan that I need does not accommodate into that puzzle of my life, then it might work the first month, two months, three months. But it's something that I cannot continue the rest of my life. So therefore it will be of no use to me in the long run. So it would be a bad, a bad investment, you know what I'm saying?
100%.
I need something that I Can. That I can make it part of my life.
It's going on a bit long.
And when do you know that it's part of your lifestyle? Like what's. I know time is a major thing for you.
Skip forward about 10 minutes here.
Right.
So this is interesting because I've been good.
I mean, there are times like during the summertime where I ride my bike to the office. This year I haven't done that yet because I keep. The office is closed, you know. But the summers I'll ride my bike to the office as a way for me to kind of sort of, you know, stay active. But I need more.
So you, you said after, you know, September, October 2018, that that issue happened with your. Back then six months, you did some physical therapy and after the six months everything was fine again?
Yeah, for the most part. Everything's been well since, you know, for, for the past, the year, since mid-2019, I've been, I've been good.
Okay, and is there any reason you didn't start mid-2019 or earlier, you know, with this area of your life?
I didn't see the need. I had just finished physical therapy. I felt better, I felt stronger.
And.
You know, doing physical therapy work, you're doing some kind of working out. I wasn't as sedentary as I've been for the past three months, you know, and, and, and I, I was actually. I wasn't that far off of, you know, I was, I was like 198 last summer, you know. But for the past three months I've put on, I put on about £25. Almost £30.
Yes.
You know, and.
Interesting to see if he uses that because if he's put on £25 over the last three months, then you just divide 25 by three and he's putting on, say, you know, £8amonth.
Right.
So the cost of not doing this is eight pounds every month.
About two and a half weeks. About three weeks ago, I noticed, you know, because I'm always home, so I'm always wearing a sweatpants or something, right. So about three weeks ago, I actually had to go meet up with some friends and when I try to put some pants on, I was like, oh shit, the pants don't fit. You know. So that's when it hit me. I was like, yes, since I'm always at home in sweatpants or whatever, I don't see that. I don't. I didn't see it. I didn't feel it. But two, about two, three weeks ago, I felt it And I saw it, and I looked at myself in the mirror, and I was like, oh, damn, I've put on some weight. So, you know, ever since then, I talked to my wife, and she was like, well, you know, let's do this intermittent fasting, See how that goes. So we did that. And then a few days ago, I ran into your presentation, and I was like, yep, you know what? It's time.
When you say when. When you say yep, you know, it's time. Like, what exactly in the presentation that you saw that you said, okay, like, this is it. I got to do this now. And I'm asking because, you know, as a coach there, or let me say it like this. A lot of people rely on motivation, especially when they get started, they're very excited. But as the journey goes on, motivation drops and drops and drops. Never got that one little linchpin that when motivation drops and you don't feel like working out, you don't feel like doing the work, which we all do. So it's not specifically about you. Then I can say, hey, Edwin, you remember what you tell me here? Like, you know, I can remind you of this. So was there anything like this specifically?
Again, it's a good question.
It's a really good question because, like, it's, again, taking a good idea and taking specifics, right? Whenever you have a good idea and you have someone that you want someone to really, really dig in on and use that as, like, a foundation for the decision making, you want to, like, ask them details about it and get them to tighten up.
Yeah, I think it was the combination of all the things, the. The fitness, the andropause, you know, the decline in testosterone, my hair falling out, you know. You know, all these things, it made me think back to, you know, how I saw myself in the mirror, and, you know, it's like, I don't want this. You know, I don't want this. I need to get back in shape. I need to. I need to do it.
I don't know what he's gonna do, but I would go straight into what happens if you don't do it. Are you willing to settle for that? Okay, cool. So, you know, with the plan that you currently have and what you're doing, how close you to achieve your goal? They're going to say, not very. They say, why not? And they're going to go, okay, cool, man. I think what we do might actually work for you. And I think I would wrap this call up in the next five minutes because he's giving all the right signals. He's saying all the right things, and it's saying it in a way that's genuine to me. So, like, prolonging the call, in my opinion, will only cause inaction for my.
Family, and I need to do it for me.
And what happens if you don't do anything until. Yeah, 20, 21.
There you go.
No, that's not. That's not gonna happen. I'm gonna do it, you know, one way or another, I'm gonna do it. I. I started, you know, I started down this road. It was crazy. After the first two days of fasting, I was down seven pounds. And then after day three and four, I was only down four pounds. So I regained some of it back, and I was like, what am I doing wrong? Okay? And instead of it demotivating me, it motivated me to look at. To what I was doing. Okay. That stopped the progress the way it was going, okay. Because I am motivated to make this happen. It's going to happen, you know, one way or another. Obviously, the last. The. The last option is for me to get surgery, you know, but if I need to, I will. Obviously, I don't want that, because a surgery is not a lifestyle. You know, I do nothing one way.
Or another is a really bad thing for a prospect to say. You want to kind of challenge that, be like. Like, what is it? What does that mean, one way or another? Because, you know, that. That. That to me is. It's.
It's inaction creeping in with getting a surgery to continue. Not. Not. Not working out, not watching what I eat, because I'm going to regain everything back anyway. All right, so we're back.
Going to continue this core view.
Let's go with getting the surgery to continue. Not. Not. Not working out, not watching what I eat, because I'm gonna regain everything back anyway. So then what, am I gonna have a second surgery, you know, and keep going like that? No, it's a lifestyle change. And I've discovered with this quarantine that, you know, we, as a family, we are pretty set in what. And we are very supportive of each other. So whatever we need to do to make things work for our betterment, we're gonna do it. So, you know, I'm pretty sure that you won't let me quit if we start this journey together. And I'm pretty sure my wife is not gonna let me. She's not gonna let me quit, so, yeah, it's gonna happen.
Good. Once again, very good that your wife is supportive. And, yeah, I appreciate it that you Opened up so much and shared so many things with me. I know some things aren't that easy, especially, you know, if we talk about testosterone. Like, as a man, we have some pride and we don't want to talk about these little things. But at the end of the day, unless we take ownership of where we are, we can't really move forward. So, yeah, big thumbs up for that. On basically dropping the ego, which so many people can do. So you're already one step ahead of most guys now. If you look into the future, let's say, let's say three months from now, what results would you need to see inside your life that you say, you know what? Like, I'm so happy I did this. I'm so happy I moved forward and we started working together.
I just need. I just need to see the results. I just need to. Need to see that, you know, that.
That's a good question. He's basically asking, like, what are the success metrics here?
So, yeah.
It'S always good to know, like, what is success to the client?
I look better, that I feel better, you know, that my wife looks at me and she sees the change, that, you know, I'm playing with my son and he sees the change, and that's it, you know, that's really all I need.
He seems genuine from his tone.
As long as I see the change in me, as long as I feel the change in me, you know, and my family sees it, that's it, you know, it's a win.
What? Yeah. What about, like yourself, when you. When you say results looking better, like, there was a bit something specific there that you'd like to see. Like, for example, certain amount of pounds that you want to lose in three months.
Well, you know, I would love to say I want to lose all 30 pounds in three months. Yes. But like I told you at the beginning, whether I look and feel good with that losing 30 pounds, or if I look or feel good having to lose £40, £45, it doesn't matter. I know that it's going to be.
Something he needs to define where feel.
Good means where, you know it's going to change, it's going to evolve as we go. Because once you start seeing the results, once you start seeing the changes, you can be like, oh, okay, well, I thought I needed to meet a successful £50, but, oh, man, I only needed to lose 30 to look good and feel good, you know, so that's. That's what matters. That. That I can look at myself and say, okay, my clothes fit. Better, I look better, I have more energy, I have more stamina. I have. I don't get tired as easy, you know? Sure.
Yeah. Those are great calls with the kids, with the wife, for yourself. Looking better, feeling better. That's, that's great. Usually what you said, you said £50 and then maybe 30. Usually it's reverse. Every, every time someone says, I want to drop 20, it's 40, 30, 50, a lot of times, because we think it's that, but then we see like, oh, I've accomplished so much. Let me actually go ahead and really get to that. Yeah, exactly. It's like in maybe like in trading, you know, you see like, oh, I made this. Let me reinvest this and get even a bigger piece of the piece, you know.
Yeah, it was good.
That's kind of framing like the phone.
Like I said, you know, it's. I'll be happy, it'll be a win for me if I can accomplish looking good, feeling good, and my family scene that I look good at.
I hope he digs in a little bit more on the cost of an action because he keeps saying, no matter what, it's going to happen. It's like, yeah, but what if it doesn't, you know? So I hope he digs in on that soon.
I feel good. That would be enough. Now, that does not mean that I might get to a level where I say, okay, I don't need to do anymore. No, because then you start seeing, oh, well, you know what? I could actually get a little bit more here. Or, oh, well, how about this here? I could lose. I could still lose this. Or I could, yeah, I could still lose a little bit of here or now you start seeing things like that because as, as you change, you start noticing things that you could do different, things that you could do better than what you thought you could, you know. So, yeah, you know, hey, I wanted to make a thousand dollars today. Oh, man, It's. It's only 10 o' clock in the morning. I already made a thousand dollars. Let me see if I can make 2,000. You know, it's the same way.
Yes. Once you, once you taste the success, then you want more.
You want more.
Awesome. Is there anything else I should know about you? Anything else you want to share with me?
No, that's. That's pretty much it, man.
Seems like an unnecessary question.
No, I think I've told you everything. I haven't left anything out.
Good. So I know you watched the mini presentation that I've sent you that was customized to you with the five steps. But I want to walk you through it once again and just based on everything you've told me, show you how we can customize it to your lifestyle. Do you want me to walk you once again through it?
Absolutely. Awesome.
Let me go ahead here and share my screen.
I'm just going to pause it here so I don't give away his ip. I'm going to skip ahead.
Absolutely. I definitely see it.
Awesome. As you implement this methodology, you'll start to come across situations that are very unique to you. We are obviously all unique, which you would need help with. And I'll be there to answer your questions and really customize this entire framework. That's why every week, one have one coaching call via Zoom just like this, around 30 to 60 minutes. In the beginning, they're usually longer. Then they get a little shorter and we see. What did Edwin do the last seven days? What was good? What needs to change to accelerate his results and keep up momentum.
Sounds good.
Awesome. And what happens the other six days that we don't have the call? Well, let me show you here.
I don't know. Like, I'll go back and watch that bit off camera, but again, I don't want to give away his ip, so. But he feels like he knows he's in a sales process now, so, like, he's keeping his cards closer to his chest. He doesn't feel like he's as open as he was.
Because one call a week, it's not bad, but it's also not enough. So you can see here, I have this software. You'll get an app and you track. Remember when I told you pillar number two, self quantification, the data? Well, this is exactly it. You get an app, you track everything. Takes around five to ten minutes a day. Ten minutes to start.
Okay. We'll fast forward a little bit through that because again, I don't want him to go over his IP that I.
Review everything daily as you take daily action. So no stone is basically left unturned.
Awesome. Okay, good.
And that data seems to get him back into it. You can see you'll have unlimited access to me via Facebook messenger or Instagram that. Do you have Facebook?
Yeah. Do I use it? Not really. But. But, but, you know, if it's a way to connect with you. Yeah, I'll definitely do it.
Okay. It's no problem. Like, we can connect via Instagram via Facebook or via that app. It's called trainerize. And there's also chat there. So just. Yeah, we'll pick one of These, one of these three mediums and, and we'll stay in touch there. So you can always ask a question. You don't have to wait till the call. You can say, hey, I'm at the restaurant, you know, there are these two menus. What do you think? Or I'm gonna go to birthday party. Like should I do this before, this after? Or whatever question you have. You reach out three times a week. You can film your workouts. Three exercises per week. You can film your workouts. Send me a video and I'll review them so that you have the proper form and you don't have like a risk of injury, anything.
Okay, perfect.
Awesome. You've got any questions so far to the process?
No. This is actually very, very self explanatory. Very. I could see all the moving parts fitting in together. The, the only question would be is, is price? How much are we talking about here? What is the commitment like with.
That's why I like doing price. First I like doing price, then pitching.
And, and for how long?
Sure. And let me, let me just.
The reason why I like doing price and then pitching is because now we're going to talk price then immediately objection, handle or just move forward. Now you can see there's another 12 minutes left in this goal. 13 minutes. So clearly it didn't just go okay, let's sign up.
Right?
And so like but when you do the price first, then you do the full pitch, right? And I think that pitch was way overcooked. I don't think it needs to be that long. But yeah, it's going to allow like if you, yeah, it just, if you ever cook the pitch, it causes all think about it objections. He, he started thinking about the price like two minutes in he's like okay, what's all this going to cost me? So he might, might not have absorbed certain things. But now as soon as you drop the prices ain't got to try and retrospectively add value. So like that's a difficult thing to do. So I would highly recommend that you do the pitch the term, then the features, benefits and the problems it solves and do it that way.
Ask you this first. Do you think the process itself, like the kinetic method puts you in the best position to lose the weight and also do it in a way where you increase your testosterone levels?
I think, I think that, that it has that potential. It has, you know, See it's non.
Committal because he doesn't know the price, right. So he doesn't want to say yes because he's not sure. What he's committing to. He knows he's not committed to doing the program, but he doesn't like, it's like when you walk into a house that you love, you don't just start raving about how good it is. Is right.
By everything you've shown me and told me it has that potential. And obviously, you know, not everybody's the same, not everybody's gonna work the same way. But, but I believe that, that putting all my energy into, into this and making this part of my lifestyle, which it seems like it's very easy to do, I shouldn't have an issue. I think it, I think it will work. I think it will be worth my time, you know, so I'm ready.
Good. So on a scale like from 1 to 10, one being, you know, I don't want to do this at all, it seems redundant.
But I know why he's doing it.
Right.
But I would have asked in a different way. I would have broken the sales business might go, hey, I just want to ask you a cheesy question and be like, hahaha, you know, into breaks. Like scale of one to ten men. One being this isn't a good fit for you. Ten being this might be the answer for you. Where do you think you fit?
10 being like this is perfect. Like I need to do this from tomorrow morning.
You see there's two. It's too extreme.
Right.
So where would you rate yourself?
I would say I am a. Out of 15. 15.
That's never a good sign, just so you know.
But I can't start it tomorrow. It just so happens that that Sunday my wife and I will be going down to, to Miami to look at some houses. So I won't be back home until next Friday.
See that. That's no good at all. That's very different than the mindset that he's been showing. So. Super interesting. I think, I think that. Yeah, we'll see how it goes.
Anyway, so I don't know how much time you need to process all this or I don't know if I can start tomorrow with, you know, setting up the pillars or. I mean, you tell me, you know how it would work.
Sure, yeah. Let's talk about the investment first and then we can talk about the next steps and how we would proceed so that even if you are away for a week, you know, we can still hit the ground running. So for you to get started, there are two ways of paying. One would be if you say you want to do it on a payment plan. It's 3500 USD. Or if you paint full, it's 3K. Which one works best for you?
There's no hold up.
If it's, if it's, there's no term there, so it's really confusing. And it's a double buying sale. So which one works best for you? It doesn't go down well with a lot of people because they feel like they're being forced into doing something. So.
Payment plan. Okay, so if it's a payment plan, it's more expensive than paid in full.
Yes.
Okay. And how would the payment plan work?
You can pay in two or three payments.
Okay, and what's the time frame for that?
90 days. 90 days? Yes.
And how long would the process before, how long do I have access to you and to your guidance for. Is this three months or is this. How would that work?
Yes, it's three months. Three months, 90 days. We work together over the next 12 weeks. And as I said, you have unlimited access to me. One weekly coaching call. You have lifetime access to the resources. So all the resources you get the science behind it, which will never change. You know exactly what to do. You'll have lifetime access to it. Okay.
All right. So what I, what I would be doing is, is I'll be paying all at once. All right. But I'll tell you this, that being the case, I will be starting this the middle of next month. And the reason for that is due to the fact that we are in the process of purchasing a home. My accountant advised me no big purchases or anything until the closing of the, of the house purchase. So we're going to go see the house and see everything next week. The house should, we should close within 30 days after that. So that's why I say about mid next month, then I'll have, then I'll have the liberty to do so. Okay.
Okay, sure. So what you're saying like is like the only thing standing. Yeah. Standing in your way to start right now is that you want to buy a new house, right?
Yeah, we're in that process. That's what we're going down there for right now. So I can't make any big purchases at this time because of that. It's, it's what the account says. Because of how.
Referring to a third party authority. Classic deflection move. Yeah. This guy, there was no, like he has price shock.
Right.
He's, he's flabbergasted at the price, but he doesn't want to say it.
Right.
Because people, especially men, don't like Saying they think things are really expensive.
Purchasing goes. But as soon as that purchase is done, which should be within the next 30 to 45 days, then I'm a freedom to do this to start then. Sure.
So just to be sure, having like money around the side or buying the house aside, there is nothing else that keeps you from.
Yeah.
Being less than 100 certain that this you want.
No, no, no, no. Absolutely not. Absolutely not. There's nothing holding me back.
I like I would have had him define a major purchase.
Right.
Okay, so like what is your, your accountant advise you do not do any major purchases. What does that mean on dollar value? And then he would have been said like, oh, anything over a thousand. I said, okay, so anything under a thousand year at liberty to do, go. Okay, perfect. How about we do a $500 deposit and then that can allow me to start the process and then we can actually get the ball rolling. And then what we can do is an organize a payment plan, but with the thoughts of you paying in full in six weeks. Right, but we'll do 500 now, 500 in like four weeks.
Right.
That way your thousand. That way you just pay the additional 2,000 the moment we get started. But that holds you accountable to actually doing it. And we can start and I can give you some resources and stuff. We just don't start the coaching yet. That makes sense. So you put them into a bit of a trap that way.
But what you've told me, I like what you've shown me and, and I can see how this can, can fit around my schedule, which is perfect because that's what I need. I need something that's sustainable. I need something that, that is not going to require two hours a day, three hours a day at the gym, six days a week. Something that's going to have me eating, you know, vegetables and, and, and, and checking six times a day, you know, seven days a week, that, you know, these are things that are not sustainable. I need something sustainable, something that I can incorporate into my lifestyle, something that I can use to the best of my abilities.
What he's saying here is let me explain the reasons why I'm never going to do anything. I've heard this language before.
I don't know what the limit would be. So I called the accountant to just verify and yeah, I can let you know.
Yeah, if that's the only issue and you say smaller purchases are okay, we can just do like, as you said, 150 bucks, which you said is okay, we can just do that. And I'll set everything up and I'll send you some resources and then we can hit the ground.
So I did exactly what I said.
Okay with you?
That's good.
Oh, yeah, yeah, that's fine.
Okay. Can you. I'll. I'll make sure. I'll make it ready. Now, can you put your email in the chat here and also your full name, please?
Gotcha.
So you did exactly what he. I said I would do, which is interesting. The thing is, from the beginning, like, his language was like, it was really hard because his tonality was good. But I said, like, he's got non buyer language, so it's. He's a tough one to read. These people are super hard to sell because, you know, they say all the right things and they say it in the right way, but the small, smallest thing, you know, there's a, there's a cone in the road, they turn around and go home. So it's a really difficult type of person to sell. They give you every indicator of a yes, and then there's some random little tiny thing in their way and they're just like, oh, well, I have to start after that. So really, what you. That's why, like, that cost of an action piece that I don't think was probably drilled down upon enough was kind of missing. Like, what happens if you don't when someone says, well, I'm going to do it no matter what? It's like, well, that's not true, man, because you haven't done it. So, like, what happens if you don't do it? Sometimes you got to put your coach's hat on and challenge or suggest alternate ways of thinking.
Oh, do me one favor. Hold. Hold on one second. Sa.
Is he gone? Did he ghost? What happened? So intriguing. I'm gonna, I'm gonna wait this out for 17 more seconds. I feel like he just left the chat. Savage. Yeah, I think that's. That's him realizing what's happened. Oh, there you go. Interesting.
All right.
So overall, it was a good call. Like, there's definitely, I think some things missing with cost of an action. And, and I think there was like, he. You got to be able to read that non buyer language better. But I mean, he was a difficult person. Like, he gave every single indicator of wanting to buy with genuine tonality. I've done enough fitness sales to feel that it was coming. I think the pitch was overcooked. I think he should have tried to close earlier. I don't think the, the length of the call did you any favors. And I don't think that necessarily going through the presentation you'd already gone through again was useful. Price first, then term.
Right?
So they don't have to ask questions about what they're buying. But yeah, man, hope that helps.
