The tone is informal and motivational, aimed at sales professionals looking to improve their referral techniques.
Hey guys, what's up? Matt here in this video I'm gonna teach you how to do more referrals, how to ask for them, how to. The fuck. I'm here to deliver the Christmas spirit. What the fuck you think I'm here for, man? I'm here to learn how to generate referrals, get more money, get more bank cash, cashola Christmas presents for the kitties that he needs. So tell me, what do I gotta do to get referrals? Alright, thirsty girl, calm down. So referrals. Alright guys, so for referrals, as my, my lovely, you know, very festive friend has said, referral to get you more cash, more money, more everything, right? So there's a reason why we want to get referrals because I want to create an ecosystem within our own sort of sales environment, right? So you don't want to be reliant on the leads. You don't have to just be relying on inbound leads. You want to be able to create your own outbound. And that doesn't necessarily mean that you have to code, call, etc. But you really want to have a method or a system where you can create your own ecosystem within the sales environment that just kind of mitigates your risk against the account that you're on or you know what I mean? Kind of allows you to have more control over your income because there's activities that you can do which allow you to create more income. Now of that you got follow ups, referrals, all that kind of stuff. But today what I want to focus on is referrals, right? So you might be asking like, man, like when do I get referrals? When do I ask for them? There are a couple of key stages in which you want to ask for, for referrals. Okay? So to get referrals a couple key times that you can do it. One, I really like asking for referrals directly after the sale. I think it's a really good time. You created a high point. You've created a connection with that person strong enough for them to pay you money, which is no small feat, especially in today's society. Okay? So that's a really, really good way. Like let's say you sign up 10 people per week and you're asking all 10 of them for a referral. Let's say 10% give you one and you sign 50% of them. Sweet, man. Just from your front end sales, you're earning an, you're earning one new sale every two, which is two per month, which is fantastic. Right. Just sit back. Now, if you make $500 a sale, bam. You just made an extra thousand dollars a month. Congratulations. High five. Well done to you. Merry Christmas, motherfucker. Very nice. Now the second time, what we want to do is if there's sort of going to be like relatively natural high points within any sort of program or service or product where the person has received the product, the person has received the service, they've gotten a result, something good has happened. Right? The whole point of like most things are designed to solve a problem, whether it's solar refriger, you know, tax stuff, or whether it's a coaching program, it's designed to solve a problem. So when you get an initial burst of problem solve, you get an immediate like high point, right? So it's a natural high point. That's a great time to ask for referrals and it's usually going to be around the same time. So let's say you do solar installs, it might take three months for that to happen. Let's say you wait till four months starts for referral because they've gotten their first bill back, you know, their first sort of power bill and they've saved money. Yay, high point. Get a referral. If it's a coaching program, might be a day 21, fitness program, might be a day 28, et cetera, et cetera. That's something that you need to figure out in your own account. So the next thing is a manufactured high point. Okay, so just going back, we've got two things that we can do so far. First of all, we've got the time directly after the sale and then we've got, we've got at the natural high point after the sale and then we've got manufactured high points. Okay, what that is, is that's like you can do things after the sale to manufacture high points. And it might even be at like the six month mark or it might be, this might be a tool that you utilize in order to kind of reactivate old clients. This might not be ubiquitous across all industries, but it is something that most people can use. If you're selling a product or service is you can go back through, ask them how you can help them. You can take them through a way to utilize a strategy or a product better. They can get a good result from that. Then from there you have a manufactured high point in which you can then use to upsell, cross sell or generate referrals. So like, how do I even ask for referral anyway? Now if there, there is a script. I'm pretty sure in an SOP, if you go to SalesSniper.net of where you can go and download the SOPS, what I'll do is I'll basically give you the 411 on exactly how to do that. First thing you want to do is you want to know what type of referrals are going to generate a sale a solution.
