Matthew Ryder breaks down how marketing strategies differ across the US, UK, and Australia, exploring the cultural and structural gaps that shape sales approaches in each region.
The marketing in the UK versus the US versus Australia is totally different what do you notice about this different in the UK particularly? What we've sort of figured out in the UK is that one, a guy like Jeremy in a polo shirt's not going to work it's got to be someone in an office with a suit on yeah, we've tested me like nice sky background and then it had to be brand focused the commission structures in the US and the UK are different there's not very many commission only sales reps in the uk they're bonused. Got it so they're all high salary with quotas and bonuses and then they're trying to climb the corporate ladder so. So it's like my story would actually resonate more because it's like from sales guy to CEO and then from the Australian side we had to tone everything down in terms of client believability yeah, exactly. We had him wear Australian brands and that actually made a huge difference that's been super interesting actually because.
