This is a YouTube video titled "How to Differentiate Your No-Shows👆 | Matthew Ryder" containing a monologue by Matt Ryder recorded on December 31, 2023. In this content, Matt Ryder explains the distinctions between no-shows, reschedules, and cancellations in the context of appointment attendance and call confirmation processes.
If we have 100 people book in and we have 50 people show up, a lot of people would say we have a 50% no show rate. But really what we have is a 50% show up rate. Right. There's three real distinctions that I use for people who do not show up. The first is a no show. So people who just out of the blue, they do not say a word. They just don't come. The second is reschedules, Right. So people who actively click the links or do whatever is necessary to reschedule that call. And the third is people who cancel. Now, the reason why they're important distinctions when it comes to your call confirmation process is because the ratios in which all of that happens will give you a really good idea as to what's going wrong.
