A sales technique for stating your price early in the pitch, before the prospect knows what you do. The speaker explains how naming a number first changes how prospects perceive value and makes them more likely to buy.
There's a really small tweak that you can make to your presentation or your pitch. Half of you're going to love this and half you're going to hate it. But it's a thing that made a massive difference to myself. Something that me and Jeremy Miner actually really disagree upon, even though we're business partners. And that's putting the price at the top of your presentation. I mean, you say like, hey, how's it going? Nice to meet you, it's 50 grand. No, that's not what I mean. The way that I do it is like, okay, I think that what we do might actually work for you. So from here I can say a little bit more about how we do and what we do to see if it would work for you. Like, would that be okay? They say yes. Okay. So for you to solve problem, actually you can get to y the funding required to do that is $30,000. It's a 12 month program. And for that, this is what we're going to do for you. So now what does that do psychologically? It means that when I get through my presentation that they're establishing the value of those things because they already know the price. So when I get to the end and I go, do you, do you feel like this could be the answer for you? When they say yes, then they're doing it knowing the price. Otherwise what happens is you end up in that dance and you go, do you feel like this could be the answer for you? And they go, yeah, but how much does it cost?
