A founder reflects on working 18 hours a day for a year straight, driven by his wife's support and the need to build momentum for his brand. He explains what pushed him through that grueling schedule and what he learned.
Like, my wife said to me when I paid $40,000 to Jeremy, she was like, I know that whatever you do, if you do it 100%, you'll kill it. Do whatever you need to do, and I'll take care of the rest. And so I was like, sweet. She was like, I trust you. And I was like, okay, cool. Like, that's all I need. My wife, trust me. Like, she's got this. I'm going to work 18 hours a day for the next year, and you just have to be okay with that. And she's like, don't worry. I got you. And we talked about it. We had the conversation. So I worked literally 18 hours a day. Yeah. Because I was doing stuff all over the world. And I said, if I do this right, I think that I can build so much brand momentum that, like, nobody will be able to stop me. And there was no competition in terms of, like, dudes who could do what I could do.
