Matt Ryder argues that bosses who yell at employees are weak and insecure. Real leaders communicate clearly and pragmatically instead of raising their voice to get results.
Yelling at employees is an incredible sign of weakness, and if you ever do it, you have failed miserably as a leader. Most of the time, a boss or someone like that who yells at people is just like a weak, withering moron who doesn't actually know how to articulate themselves well and is so terrified about what the people around them think that they feel like they have to beat their chest like a gorilla in order to be taken seriously, when in reality it's the exact opposite. But the true leaders, the people who are really, really valued what they thought and their thought processes, like the things that they taught us, were very clear and pragmatic. If you are a boss who yells, you are a po, and you are just a person who is insecure and desperately seeking the validation of the people around you.
