Hey guys, what's up? Matt here. And another YouTube video for you guys today. And this one is a juicy one. It's all about how to instantaneously up level your technique and really get better at actually closing deals today. All right, so make sure you stick around to the end. If you like the content, make sure that you've hit subscribed and that you slap like. Now make sure you turn the notification bell on so that you know every time we do a video. All right, guys, cue the intro. Make the unconscious conscious. Well, what the hell do I mean by that? And I'm glad that you asked because frankly, it's a very good question. When you're selling, there are positive and negative things that you're doing that are creating both positive and negative outcomes. Okay? Now the first thing that you need to do is identify the negatives, okay? So your lowest hanging fruit, identify the negatives. What I'm really talking about is like what are the things that you like subconsciously do? Okay? So the way that you say a particular question, the way that you, the pausing, the phrasing or like asking a particular question at a particular time, you know, you're like, okay, I should ask this now I should do this. Like, try and really understand the thought process that's going into everything that you say. So you need to review your calls and then really try and break down, like, what was I thinking? Why did I say that? What was the point of it? What was the context? Where was I trying to go? Okay? Because if you can do that and you remove the negatives, that's a really, really great thing to do because then you'll have a much deeper understanding as to where you're going in a sales call and what you're trying to achieve, okay? And you'll be able to successfully pinpoint things that are costing you sales. So removing the negatives, that's step one. But the real magic, the real secret sauce is when you can dissect what you're doing that is causing positive outcomes so that you can turn them from unconscious or subconscious habits into a refined weapon. This is what I'm talking about. A weapon that you can use on a consistent basis and get a consistent outcome. How do we do this? It's a three step process. Step one, okay, is to listen to the best calls that you've ever done. There's two calls you want to listen to, the ones where you got zero objections and the one where you got like 50 objections enclosed anyway, okay? Because there's two opposite ends of the closing scale. So if you can dissect the difference between the two types, right? Because if you look at the one where you got no objections and you might want to listen to a few of them just so you don't get like a random prospect who is just ready there to buy. But if you can listen to the differences between the ones where you had to really use objection handling but still overcame, then you'll be able to kind of really dissect your objection handling very, very deeply. And then you the ones where you didn't get any objections because the goal of selling is to not get objections. And so you really want to be able to break down exactly what you did, why you did it, and think about the thought processes. And that's going to allow you to catch arrows like a goddamn ninja. Alright? Step two, explain to somebody else what you were doing, okay? Essentially coach someone, okay? So get a role play buddy. Break down exactly what you're doing. Explain out loud to another human being why you decided to take the path that you took, okay? And talk them through your ninja like tactics. And their questions will be very illuminating and they'll make you think deeper and in a different way about the things that you're doing. We get rid of the negative things, we identify them, we just dump them and we really hone in on the positives, okay? So step one, listen to them. Step two, teach it to somebody else. And step three, write it out and make it a part of your script, okay? So have your hooks, your anchors, your little nuanced phrase that like really put that in your script and when you're gonna do it. Because the timing of a question and the timing of something plays a pretty big role. Okay? I've talked about this before. When you take a question like, well, why is that important to you now though? If you search the cue someone for the, that you want to do that at the beginning. So why is, why is that important to you now though? That's more towards the beginning of a call because you haven't really been feel it's enough reports or go into any real cost of inaction or urgency frames. And then at the bottom of the call you're like, well, why is that important to you now though? Write it out, make it part of your script. It is important so that you don't forget things, leave things out and that you actually know what you're doing so you can become as consistent as humanly possible. Sales is like underwater 4D wizards chess. If you really know what you're doing. You usually win. Don't just sit back and like let the call happen to you. Take charge, lead the call. Know what you're doing, know why you're doing it. Okay, guys, I hope that helped. If you want more content like this, make sure you hit the subscribe button.
