This is a YouTube video titled "Is Harsh Management Best? | Matthew Ryder" containing a monologue or talk by a single speaker discussing management styles for sales teams, emphasizing the need for harsh but fair leadership without yelling. The content was created in June 2023 and focuses on leadership and management philosophy.
The thing about sales teams is that, like, they need a very particular style of management to be quite harsh but fair. I never advocate yelling. That's stupid. I think if you're yelling at people, you're a poor leader. But, like, you have to be harsh. And just remember, if I'm telling someone that they're inadequate in a certain area of their job, and they are, and that's affecting their income, if I don't tell them, how does that benefit them? Being kind and being nice are different things.
