This is a YouTube video titled "Never Go To Sales Interview Without This | Interview Tips" containing a monologue or talk from June 1, 2023, providing advice on how to prepare for sales interviews by researching the company and understanding the business beforehand. The content features a single speaker giving practical tips for interviewees.
Do not come in with zero information about the business. You will come off like a moron. If I'm interviewing a salesperson, like, I'm the prospect, they should be going after me. They should have done some research. Like, like they want money out of me, they want me to pay them. So if they haven't done the baseline level research, then it's like you and everything you stand for and you can go, probably don't put that bit. Make sure you understand who owns the company. Make sure you've done research. If they have a YouTube presence, go on there, have a website, go on there, poke around, make sure you have a good understanding of the company.
