This is a YouTube video titled "Optimize Your Email Reminders: Reduce No-Shows Now" containing a monologue or single-speaker discussion from August 18, 2024, focused on strategies to optimize email and text message reminders to reduce appointment no-shows. The speaker discusses timing, frequency, and personalization of reminders to improve effectiveness.
Is the email sequence going out? Does it make sense? Then what you would have a look at is, are we over communicating or under communicating? If we're sending 25 reminder texts, it might be pissing people off and causing no shows. If we're sending one, it might not be enough. Right. I like, you know, maybe 24 hours, and then we want to have like, say, six hours and, you know, 30 minutes or whatever like that. Right. Three Reminders is probably plenty. You also want to make sure that it's set to, like, not do it. There's a little button that you can press in most of them where it will take into account their local time. You don't want to be sending Messages out at 3am Just don't do it. Just check the box. Right. What else could be causing no shows? Right. Have a look through the funnel. Okay. See if there's anything particularly egregious. Or check with the marketing team. Are they still sending out all of the email reminders?
