Outbound team management: Terrifying practices you should avoid when calling leads.

A guide to outbound sales call management that warns against ignoring Do Not Call list regulations, which can result in heavy fines. The speaker covers legal and ethical practices for managing telemarketing teams safely.
Some information for you if you're running an outbound team of things that are terrifying, you're probably not doing and are designed to scare you. And it is giving me the responsibility of calling your leads for you in our SDR call center. So number one is DNC list. So the do Not Call list, it is a heavily enforced thing. If you call people on the DNC list, do we know how much the fine is? $47,000 per instance. It's a real number. If some of you're on the DNC list, somebody calls you to telemarketer, you screenshot the number, send it to the fcc, they find out whose number it find. That business is really, really easy to get people fined. If you fucking hate somebody, just go through opt into all their shit, tell them to stop calling you. They probably won't. And then from there you can rack up like anywhere from 500 to 1500, all the way up to $50,000 fines all day long. Don't do it to me. That, that would suck. It's a really, really serious thing that most businesses do not take seriously because they think they can't get caught. But the reality is it's actually the easiest thing in the world to get caught for because the moment you get caught once, you're fucked. Because everything is tracked. You cannot hide from the analytics company. So don't try. That is a requirement if you are doing outbound telemarketing sales, right, your system must scrub for the do not Call list on a regular basis. Now, if you fuck up every now and then, they're probably going to give you a bit of a warning if you're seen to be doing something. However, if you're not seen to be doing something, you're going to go, fuck you. There's your fine. And fair enough. People are registering for that thing for a reason. They don't be fucking cold, right? Our system just happens to do it for you, no big deal.
