State of Play.. 12 Months of Sales Snipers Consulting

This is a YouTube video titled "State of Play.. 12 Months of Sales Snipers Consulting" created in early January 2021. It features a conversational podcast-style discussion between Matt Ryder and James, co-hosts of the "Coffee is for Closers" podcast. They discuss the growth and development of their sales consulting business over the past year, including office expansion, team growth, sales strategies, client management, and future plans for 2021. The conversation is informal, candid, and covers business insights, personal anecdotes, and company culture.
All right, guys, welcome to another episode of Coffee is for Closers. It's Matt and James today.
The dream team back at it again.
The dream Team. Some said it wouldn't happen, but it did. We managed to get back for another podcast.
What are we, like, 30 episodes in? I didn't think we'd get past five, the way our first few went. No.
Well, people are actually listening, which is weird.
It's different. I mean, we're having success with that, but we're having success in a lot of areas in the business right now. And that's probably what we'll touch on today is just the to play. So if you want to do your little. Cue the intro. Go for it.
Cue the intro.
If you listen to this podcast, you will make your first million within three years. I'm going to repeat that. You will make a million dollars within three years of the first episode. You listen to. We don't want pikers. We're not here to save the manatees. We're here to make podcasts. You really want this? You listen and review.
Put that coffee down.
I know you love that bit.
It's just. I do it on my YouTube videos as well. Cue the intro. Bing, bang, bong. All right, cool. Yeah. So today we're gonna go over. You know, it's. It's December 3rd, if you want to knock on the old fourth wall here, because you guys are listening to this in January. I think we're actually gonna be ahead of the day, meant to be ahead of the curve. So, uh, we've done some cool stuff. Talk about what we did. Plans for 2020, some of the things that we got on the pipeline. Yeah, basically what. What the goal is for the new year and some of the things that I think we did well, even some of the things we probably didn't do well in 2020 and how fast we grew. So, yeah, let's get into it.
Yeah. I guess it's a transparency podcast, right? Remove the veil, have a look behind the scenes.
Yeah.
As a. Because in 2020, as we're. Next topic, new office, we'll be doing like a. We've got a bar in the office.
Got a bar. It's pretty sick.
We're gonna do a Friday night drinks podcast, which is just gonna be a little 10 minute wrap up of what.
Happens Friday night drinks with Matt and James. The mustache is gone. Ladies beware.
So now you know. There won't be anything dropped in your drink. All right.
I was watching a movie the other day, and the guy was drinking out of one of those, like, steins with the. With the lid. My wife looked at me, she's like, you should be drinking out of one of those. I was like, you know what? I should be drinking one of those. So watch out for the merch store sales sniper steins.
I'll send you a meme that's probably. That touches on that. That's probably not appropriate to speak about on this podcast.
I can only imagine.
But you'll love it.
You do have some T shirts. I wonder if they're going to be for sale yet. I don't know. It probably sold out because we didn't get.
By the time this podcast comes out, there will be some. Yeah.
With our new motto, which is you can run, but you'll just buy tired.
Yes. I love it.
Which is a throwback to the old one of our sniper mottos, which is they can run, but they'll just die tired. That was a reference to when we used to shoot people, James.
Really? I wouldn't have thought so.
That's what I used to do. Not many people know, but I used to be a sniper. I keep that pretty under wraps.
Yeah. It's not like you brag about it every day.
I don't. I just. I'm a humble man. Humble means right.
And for the guys that couldn't connect the dots, that's actually why we're called sales sniper.
Yep. That is people like, that's a great name. I was like, yep, used to be a sniper. Now I do sales. It's not very creative, but it gets the job done.
All right. So first thing that we'll touch on is office space. We just received the lease agreement yesterday to pay our bond and everything. So we shall be taking office space from January 1, 2021, with Matt to be in the office from about February. And so we'll get the fit out done. Nice space. We just wanted to step up the professionalism rather than a bunch of dudes in their home offices and take that to the next level there as well as open up some space for reception, some staff in Sydney because we'll be doing some more hiring. A couple of the boys will probably move the ones in Australia down to Sydney to be in that office. It's just going to be cool to be more productive all in the same space. And the idea is literally just to have. We've got what, like 200 square meters for two people. This is going to be a giant man cave.
So it's like, it's like. I think it's like 2,000 square feet for those of you in America, maybe two and a half thousand square feet, something like that. That's what that is. So it's a pretty decent sized space. Polished concrete floors, big old glass boardroom which is going to become the podcast studio. I've commissioned a dope ass podcasting table so we're going to kit that out. So hopefully when you guys watch this on YouTube coming into the new year, when we can get over there and sort of catch up, we're going to have some pretty cool studio. My YouTube studio is going to be stepped up and might even step up the YouTube game a little bit and going to be doing a lot more like sort of like around the office type stuff with some of the stuff that we do day to day and provide. Obviously this, this is going to stay pretty much mainly a coaching process podcast because that's what people listen to it for, to get better at sales and stuff like that, which is what it's going to stay all about. But some of the YouTube stuff want to keep the weekly education videos then maybe add in some more sort of lifestyle, general business type stuff as well.
Yeah, the best thing about the office is going to be the toys. Two brand new cars parked in the driveway.
Two brand new cars. I got an AMG C63AMG coupe and old James is getting a nice little Mustang GT. Yeah, the battle of the V8s.
We'll be losing our license as we race each other to the office.
Tires and licenses no longer required. Right. We bought those cars because we are immature fuck bags.
But hey, you know what else are we going to have? Pool table in there.
Pool table machine. Mortal Kombat also has NBA jam. Pretty stoked. 3,500 games. It's got 3,500 games. But it's, it's, it looks like the old mortal Kombat Machine 4 player. Obviously good to go get a golf simulator. Idiots. We shouldn't be allowed money. Yeah, but people have given it to us. So hey, we're gonna do what we're gonna do and essentially it's gonna be the coolest fucking office getting around. I gotta, I just, I just commissioned a new neon sign which is the sales sniper logo which is also going to be carved, hand carved into the table and then resin poured for our podcasting table. So look out guys. Don't give financial toddlers money because we would just spend it on cool shit.
I might even just get a new profile picture with that neon sign behind me going like this.
Yeah, they need to be cool as fuck. Those of you who didn't see he was making fun of my social media presence, which everyone comments on because that sign is dope.
Yeah, too bad you can only see half of it right now if you're watching on video.
You know, we can change that. It's just an easy fix.
All right, so yeah, some things that happened in Sniper this, this month we.
Hired a bunch of people again.
Yeah. Well, I mean look at our payroll. Like we literally doubled it this month. You know, what are we paying, like 20 grand a week worth of wages right now?
Close to that. Pre commissions, 17,000 a week.
No, no payroll which doubled up. We hired a ton more stuff, gave some, some pay rises.
I think we have like 27 people.
Now in the organization. That's a. Yeah.
And we gave all the VA's pay rises. One of our VAs is making a western wage. She's. She's bowling out of control. Yeah, she's probably doing her own podcast.
Yeah, half of them will probably want to move to Australia.
You know, she could afford to.
Oh yeah, so there's that. We found we probably had a down month. Well, I mean, sorry, when I say probably a down month in sale relatively.
We had our best month yet revenue wise per like revenue for sales Sniper. But in terms of which, which I found like a lot of companies had somewhat of a downturn. We had, we still had quite good sales numbers but we didn't like increase from the month before, which is unusual. So. So we sort of like hit around roughly the same number, but a lot of it came in much more towards the end. So we had a very slow first two weeks to the month in terms of sales which was like if we have a look at all the accounts in November, obviously there was the US election and there was also Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving didn't really seem to play too much of a role, but the election like there was a good 10 to 12 day period where like ad spend was 10x so people just. There was such a lower volume coming through that our sales ratios didn't really change at all, but there was just much less opportunity. So then we worked with some of the accounts and like on the last day of the month, I think like for one account we sold eight on the last day on the 30th.
So we, we maintained and actually increased. I think it was like 1.2% overall in close rates company wide. But we had less opportunity. So we didn't increase. I mean for some clients we, we grew with them, but a lot of them, because they had less lead volume because cost of ads was so high. There was less opportunity for us. So we didn't grow in that sense. But we still did an amazing job. And as a whole company, like I think what we did it was about between 230 and 250 without looking at the numbers. K worth of comms this month alone. Yeah. And then another 70k. 70 to 50k worth of like recurring revenue from like basis closing code sale, like one on one sales training, et cetera, et cetera. So it was a very good month. We just ended up just shy of the 300k cash collected mark, which is pretty annoying. But there's what it is.
And the business is 12 months old. That's the iteration that we have it now. We did some stuff like last year, right. And then what we did is we shut that company down. Then we started a new company from January because like we just decided to change tack. Like for those of you who don't know, like up until like last year we were like a fitness business. So we were fit, we were a fitness sales sniper and we were doing almost all. So like. And then we essentially fired all of our clients and decided to change tact at like the end of last year. And we just started again. So in Jan we started from scratch. Like we had like a couple of clients but it was all pretty, it was only like me, you, Marco, Will came on in Jan and like we started from scratch and over the course of the year we've built up you know, around a $4 million, like a three to $4 million a year run rate I think like that. And you know we've brought on in the last quarter we did like this already in. We've already doubled last quarter. So like we're. And it's, it's obviously we have one month to go so we should probably triple our last quarter if we have a similar January to what we did November. And sorry, December and December is already looking better than what is significantly better. Like I think we've already done a million dollars in sales. Like it's pretty close to it. So. And it's three days in.
Yeah. In terms of like December we, we found that we make a lot of very good sales like last December. I mean but it's hard to judge because we literally had just started and we only took on our first high ticket closes this time last year. But we didn't see a drop. What we found was we got less leads and this is generalized to what we did then. So it could be different. As we don't have enough history to, to say that. But less leads, but significantly more qualified leads because the people coming into that Christmas period were only getting on the phone with actual serious buyers. So we had improve close rates, you know, which are far less than what we have now, like miles less. But we, we signed an equal amount of people with less opportunity. So we're predicting something similar and, but no downturn in, in revenue for the most part on most of our accounts. Yeah, I'd say it's a pretty good prediction.
January is always pretty ginormous in the us. It's pretty terrible in Australia to be honest because like Australia shuts down until after Australia Day, people. It's like weird. Australia is a funky market. Like December's not great. People just like from December 18 to January 27, Australia is just on hold. Like no one's doing shit.
Basically in Australia people will take holidays and most guys, and particularly businesses want like two, three weeks worth of holidays at a year. And they usually take it leading into Christmas or after Christmas leading into Australia. So that's usually why because half the population is in holiday mode after Christmas, the other half is in holiday mode before Christmas. So there's less.
Yeah, like even fitness stuff like when we were selling the gym stuff like, you know, there is no New year rush in fitness in Australia at all. It is non existent. It's never happened. I was in Tiffany for 10 years, never once saw it. But there's a February rush. Yeah, like February 1st. It's enormous. Like February and March are enormous months for fitness in Australia but in the States I'm sure they're shit. So yeah, it's just, it's just interesting. But yeah, like, so we had a strong year. We grew really well. I think we can, we can probably get to eight figures by the middle of next year. So by the end of financial year.
My goal is end of financial year.
Is to be there by the end of financial year. We should be an eight figure company, which is cool. Yeah. And we're doing all the right things I think in order to set us up to be that. And we have some really cool clients coming up. I mean we've got some like proper big clients, like guys who were already doing seven figure months. So we have a bunch of eight figure clients, even nine figure clients. And there's one ten figure client which I'm negotiating with at the moment to try and get them through. So you heard that right? A billion dollars plus when it comes to some of the stuff which is, which is $1 billion billion dollars. So let's get some of that. Just might negotiate a 10% rev share something. But also speaking of that, we've formed a really strong relationship with Jeremy Miner in seventh level. So you've become the operations manager for that company. I've become the CEO of that company. And then Jeremy's sort of more of the figurehead founding. So we're kind of shaping that. And we grew that business from 0 to 170,000 US cash collected per month in nine weeks.
Has this pretty fast. We grew faster than what we did mostly because we had the infrastructure and everything in place and knowledge on how to do it.
Yeah. And so then there's some really exciting, very, very large plays that we're trying to work with that one in terms of like some of the more B2B stuff. So it'll be interesting year, man. Like I think, I think it's going to be really hard to say where the business is going to go in 2021. I'm super excited. We have an unbelievable amount of opportunity. One of the big stopgaps at the moment is that like we just want more good salespeople.
We have too many accounts, not enough top level sales guys.
Yeah. Like, you know, we have that tier that Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and we have, we can definitely get Charlie's in. We can potentially get Bravos in. But getting guys who we consider to be top tier is very difficult and.
People process to train them.
A lot of them think they're top tier and they're not. So when they come to us and it's like, hey dude, I got to get you to do take it back a notch so we can teach you the right way of doing things. Like they don't like it and they don't want to take the pay cut in order to get better so they can make more money in the long term. But it is what it is.
Like, I respect that.
Yeah, no, it's totally fine.
I know. Like we had another chat with a guy, he's like doing, doing 20k months now and has the ability to do 30 because he doesn't have the volume. Why would someone want to risk dropping a 20k month gig for the potential to make an extra 10k? You know, that's a tough ask and it takes a very special entrepreneurial type of person willing to do that.
Yeah, exactly. And like a lot of sales guys, the moment they sort of hit that probably anything over 15k a month, they get pretty comfortable. And it's not until they have the realization that hey man, you know the ads are going to go down for that account. Right.
At one stage or another.
And so it's like, wouldn't, wouldn't you rather be on three accounts? And so the way that I see it is like if I'm a full time sales guy, I kind of want to be doing 30 sales calls a week, a month. I want to be doing like sort of six a day. That's like ideal for me. Right. So I want to be doing like 30 a week. And then so if I have like two to three clients and they get me between 10 to 15 calls per week per client, which is super doable. And you can stack that back to back in 45 minute calls. Like that's really difficult to get with one. With one account, even like a million dollar a month account, it's super difficult to get because they, they don't want to, the business owner doesn't want to have that much risk associated with one person.
One person, a hundred percent.
So like they're going to, as soon as they get to like say three calls a day, four calls a day, they're just going to get another salesperson because if you go down, they're fucked. So the way that we do it, if you're listening out there and you're a good quality salesperson, is that we give you like two or three accounts that can give you like two to three calls a day. Right. So if you have two, three accounts giving you two calls a day, that means that their risk is mitigated because if you get sick, it's only two calls, so somebody else can take that volume over or, or if one of the ads go down, you're still doing four calls a day. Yep. You know, so any one stage, we know that the lead volume of one of your accounts is going to be lowered and that will just kind of rotate through. Hopefully it doesn't happen where all of them happen at once. It has happened once. And with that we gave the guy $5,000 to cover him so he could pay all of his bills and then he just paid that back through commissions. But, well, he didn't. But anyway, um, it's a risk that we're willing to take. But yeah, so like that, that, that's why like when I was closing full time, like I really didn't want to be on one account, I wanted to be on two because it just mitigated my risk. And I'm gonna make the most amount of money over the longest period if I do it that way. Rather Than just. Yeah, like. Cause really, like, you're gonna get to 20, maybe 25,000amonth with one account. They're not gonna give you much more opportunity than that simply because they're just gonna want to mitigate the risk. Whereas if you're doing, like, all their sales, they look at that as a giant, giant, giant hole in their business.
It is like, you ever look like.
If you're on these sales guys, Marco, you are fucked. Yeah, like, straight up. Because that guy's a straight up savage. And like, if he's your only guy, like, and he. If he moves on. Like, I know Marco gets hit up probably three times a day. Grant Cardone is trying to get Marco right now. Like, they're in. Like, they. They messaged that guy flat out trying to get him in. They're like, dude, we're making sure you can make a hundred thousand dollars a month. They'll go, we will ensure that. And he's like, nah, dude, I'm good.
Right?
Like, they're head hunting him hard, and he's. He talks to me all the time. Like, he. He's like, hey, I'm gonna get a sniper tattoo on my ass. I'm like, don't do that. And it's like, I. I know. You're not going anywhere, buddy. It's okay.
If he gets one, I'll get one.
He's got it booked in for Jan. You know that, right? Sniper for life. Yeah.
I'm gonna get one just under the eye. Yeah.
And teardrop. I'm gonna teardrop for every sale.
You. You'll be covered.
Covered in teardrops. Yeah.
But, yeah, if we go back to, like, the growth and stuff, like, I'm confident to get to eight figures by the end of financial year. And that's based off current growth rates that we have obviously hyperinflated to reach that goal every quarter.
Yeah, basically. What happened?
Yeah, I mean, like, that is an unsustainable growth rate long term. So we've. It's true. Like, you can. You can believe it if you want to, but it's unrealistic.
Dare you say that I can't double every quarter forever.
Go for it. You know, Be my guest. Right. So, like, we've kind of extrapolated that, and it makes sense. The numbers make sense if we slightly reduce the growth rate, but we can still get there. But let's maybe go over some of the things that we've put in place that have enabled us to. To grow so quick, because there's a lot of things there you know, anything that you want to bring up in terms of commitment to excellence. Yeah, I agree.
I think, I think there's a couple things at play. One, I think the sheer volume of content that I have put out over the last year has gotten to a point where I am absolutely fucking everywhere. And we're doing paid ads, which is just content. Like, you know, and we're getting. We've done well enough for enough people now that people seek us out and we get messages from people who are quite large and run very successful businesses saying, we want you to come on and take over our sales.
Yeah. Results deliver clients like that.
And I have no idea where these people come from. Like, they just hit me up on Facebook and I'm like, who's this douchebag? Hit me up on Facebook. And then I do some research and like, oh, that guy runs like an eight figure company.
There you go. My inbox gets flooded as well. It's crazy. So, like, those paid ads are purely to grow the closing code group. Well, the free Facebook group, the links in the description, if you want to join, there's no offers with it. You know, obviously you can buy the closing code if you want, but it's not. The ads aren't directed to an offer. It's just to grow that. I think we hit 500 this week. You know, in the grand scheme of things, isn't a huge number, but it's only been there for what, two months if that.
It's only been open for a short period of time. A few months probably. Yeah, we, I made it like maybe six months ago, but we only really started posting seriously in it like three or four months ago. Yeah. And then like we haven't really run ads to it ever. We just kind of like it just grew. But dude, people, I get messages from people saying like, hey, I'm in a free group and I've doubled my sales.
Yeah.
You know, we do a lot of content there. And even if you don't buy, which is like it's only 50 bucks a week and then you can be in the role plays, but you can watch them for free.
Yeah.
Now if you're a kind of sales guy that just sits back there and watches shit for free and gets value and doesn't pay, I think you're kind of a piece of. But you do what you got to do, man.
Yeah, you're probably not going to be growing as a salesperson, but that's yours.
That's a really rough way of saying it, but I think that like that's a hard.
You're just not there yet.
That's a hard mindset to overcome when you're a sales guy. You know, I'm getting enough for free. It's like, okay, well, I'm glad. The whole point when I, when I, when we sat down with Charlie, who's our guy who manages and repurposes our content, like the head of our media team, I was like, the whole point of all of our content and our podcast and our YouTube channel and the closing code group is that you can get better at sales for free. I go, as long as that we're all on the same page and that's like the kind of the goal of everything. Then, like, I think people would just be willing to give us money.
Yeah. And I think that's one of the biggest things in growth is we've acknowledged that and where our actions and everything is congruent with the, like, the three messages that we want with the clothes, the closing code, everything on sales train type stuff and content. The whole purpose is to make people better salespeople just by listening to us. We do whatever we want there as long as that's reaching a goal. And everyone on that media team, everyone in the team acknowledges that and works towards that. Secondly, like, and it's just congruency across the company, right. Then secondly, with our accounts that we take on the sales reps that we bring in, like, the main process of thought around taking on clients and stuff like that is if we put sales reps on this, are they going to be able to reach that income goals by doing it right? If the answer is yes, we do it. If the answer is no, we don't, you know, and we had conversations about that today as well, and that congruency is across all of the board. And I think that's all. I had another point there, but I've just spaced it.
So, yeah, that was interesting conversation today because we had a couple of accounts that I wanted to take on and Marco, like, although, like, there is a tiered structure, like me and James are at the top.
You know, I was hesitant to do it, but I can.
But then like, you know, Marco and Will play a large role because they're sort of like managing stuff. You know what I mean? So we all kind of discussed things and everyone. Nobody wanted to do it but me. And then I sort of explained, I think the reasoning why. Yeah. And it was just like, listen, like, yes, like sales snipers, reputation is important. Yes. There's a, you know, we want to make sure that we work with the clients that want to get us there in the end. But, like, at the end of the day, what makes us successful is having really successful salespeople. And so, like, if we are presented with an opportunity that I know can make a salesperson money through selling a quality product, even if it's not at, like, the strata of client that we are striving to have long term, like, I think it's a good move because, like, if all of our sales guys are making 20, 30, $40,000 a month, then, like, we are fucking winning. And we have a team of people who are super successful, very fulfilled financially, very fulfilled emotionally. They have a great culture and they have a good connection to our company. Then, like, I think it's a fucking win all round, you know, like, so not. Not every single client has to be a Ryan Sirhan and not every client has to be a Vince Del Monte and a Jeremy Minor, all those kind of things. Like, and also, like, a lot of those guys are, you know, the only reason why their business is going so well is because we do the fucking sales. Like, Sirhan account is fucking tough, man. He is a great account and I think it's a good program and I think he's a phenomenal operator. But, like, we built that coaching program, like, from scratch. It was when we came in, it was a one. It was one meeting. That's all you got. Sorry, two meetings. Right. And now it's a whole coaching program.
Yeah.
Of which. Of which we've developed, you know, and so, like, that doesn't happen without us.
Like, if that's a great note. Podcast idea to the team listening. What makes a successful client Podcast.
That is good. Write that down. Somebody, Somebody write that down. I must have seen that a lot. I can't wait to roll in the office and I can just go, hey.
And no one's there to answer you because I'm on the phone. Because it's only us there now.
We'll have an assistant. We'll have an assistant. Hey, write that down. Follow me around with a pen and paper and I shall give you notes.
Yeah, yeah, that would be awesome.
I have an idea. It's a chicken coop.
Just gonna yell out to my trading floor. Give me one second. There's nothing there. Yeah, but that. That's the third point that I spaced. And I don't know how is those two that I mentioned is that people are going to get the free content and that our staff can make money. It all falls under the umbrella that we have our standards There. That there is a set standard in our company, and every single person knows it from the top of the chain to the bottom of the chain in terms of company structure. And everyone is working towards those standards. And because of that, those standards, there's congruency with everyone's lifestyle, with everyone's ethics around their business and the way they do things, which translates in their ability to sell. And there's been a few things that we put in place that. That help that, you know, and particularly health coaching, getting them into a position where they can make money and providing them with good clients and good structure. And because of that, the values and standards that we have in place are set and people achieve them.
Yeah.
And that. That drives growth.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
It's been a funny old year. If you would have told me that this is. What, Weird. I mean, the goal. My goal in January was to get the business to $30,000 a week. That was my goal.
Yeah. We sat down and planned it out. We're like, oh, do you reckon, you know, when we're playing, you go, do you reckon we can get to.
We're at zero. Like, we started a new business, you know what I mean?
In January, that conversation was, do you think we can get to a million dollars a year by the end of this year? And we're like, that sounds tough.
And now I think we'd actually go broke if we only made $30,000.
Mm. That wouldn't cover. It wouldn't cover a quarter of our expenses, you know, which. I'm fine.
It would cover our expenses. We'd be okay, but we wouldn't be making any money.
Not with the staff that we have on. And then.
Yeah, well, we know. I know our fixed costs. It would be okay, but it wouldn't be fun.
Yeah. We wouldn't be getting paid.
Yeah. Yeah. Wouldn't be buying the cars that we just bought. That's for sure. Yeah. So I think, like, you know, I don't really know what's in store for 2021. I know it's going to be good. I know it's going to be fun. I think the office is a big move. There's a particular reason, which I'm not going to go into on the podcast, why I decided to get an office and spend probably $100,000 fitting it out. It's a very particular play that I'm trying to make, but you guys will figure it out when you start seeing the stuff that we're doing. Yeah. Because I'm trying to stay ahead of the curve. Because nobody is going to catch me in the content game. I'll tell you again, if you're out there listening to this podcast, you're not going to catch me. I can tell you that right now. It's not going to happen. I have plans, buddy. That's why we're in Australia. We're 12 hours in the future. That's why I'm so good at. Objection. Handling. I already know what you're going to say because I've already heard it.
Yeah. A couple of things for next year is we've got the media team.
Yeah. Sniper media in the house.
That's. That'll be big. We'll talk about that more another time. We've got the health coaching with James Catt.
All right.
That we're going to be doing because one of the major things that's been successful us is, you know, myself, you, Matt, other guys that I've spoken to on our team. In the process of growing this company, we have neglected our health, we've put on weight, we've got tired, and we've lowered our testosterone, whatever effects that come with that. This only recently that we've acknowledged that we're not turning up each day as the best versions of ourself ready to crush it. And we needed to fix that. So we got James to do coaching with us and we're going to roll that out to our team. And as we take on clients for coaching, they're going to have the opportunity to do that same so that they can show up and reach the sniper standards for not just our internal team, but the guys that come to us for sales training.
Mm.
So that'll be huge. Full time copywriter coming on board. So our content should be better. You should like it more. And we can extend that to our clients as well. Then we've got the Facebook farming. So there'll be options for clients, obviously at a much higher rate and commission rate and potential revenue shares that we can come in and take over the whole process of utilizing your Facebook group and actually bringing in leads to assist your paid advertising and other strategies that you have. That's another area that we'll be doing. And that's what we've got, at least from the top of my head in place. That'll be coming Q1 of January. So that's exciting to move into, which will spur more growth. And as more growth occurs, bigger ideas happen.
Yeah. And then I'm sort of stepping out from doing a lot of selling. So that's where we started that transition in sort Of, I don't know, I guess the end of November. So I'm not really taking any calls. And I'm focusing on developing our guys first and foremost and then developing some other people through some of the more high ticket coaching stuff that we have where we're doing like our own coaching. So. Which is great because it's very lucrative. You know, it's $5,000 a month to coach with me, so I can have like five people at a time. So that's always fun. And I usually end up stealing them.
Well, not even stealing. And they want to work.
Yeah. They can't. They ask to work for us. So we usually find them a spot. So it's a great way because it's basically, I can ensure that somebody's good. Like, yep, they're good to go. I've trained them for 12 weeks. They're savage. So, yeah, it's really, really interesting.
That's not how you have to spend that money to get a job with this. It doesn't help.
I'm not. I'm not going to be your sifu. Yeah. It's just gonna be really interesting one. Like, it's interesting. Like, I don't really know of any of our competitors. Like. Cause Cole's not a competitor like Cole. I got a lot of respect for him. We do. Like, I was funny, I was talking to Cole the other day and I was like, we are two different sides of the same coin. Like, if you want an internal sales team and you want that sales team to be rocking and killing it, then go to Cole. I mean, if you want an external sales team because you don't want to have to manage the process and just want a team of killers to come in and do it for you. That's usually.
Yeah.
You know, and there's pros and cons to both. So we refer clients to each other. I've sent him a few clients. He sent a few clients. And we get along really well. So he's not a competitor. We're just like, we actually synergize quite well together. And then like, I think that there's one other sales agency that I've heard of and we've taken over a few other clients recently.
Yeah, all of their stuff, all of their sales reps want to work for us.
Yeah. Nice.
And like, I know we've. You've pitched against them and one accounts and I've pitched against them on one accounts every time. I don't think we've ever had a no in that sense.
No.
But again, it's a different service. That's more what Cole does, what they do, as far as I know.
I can't figure it out. We just. Yeah, I think, like, I think in our. Really. Yeah. I think that we're just. I think really. I think we're the only ones doing exactly what we do. I mean, I could be wrong, but I just. I don't really look outwards that much. We just sort of more inward focus with that stuff.
Focus on what we can control.
I hope there is.
I.
There's. There's a.
There's a.
There's many people to sell, many people who need salespeople. There is no lack of opportunity out there. So I don't really care. I hope there is competition. I hope they're really good.
I want the competition, because that lack of competition stops you changing the game and coming up with new ideas and new ways to better yourself. So, yeah, so I. I employ that and, you know, welcome the competition. Yeah, it only makes us all better and can fix the industry as a whole.
You know, our European contingent is growing.
Yeah. Yeah.
Sales sniper. Europe, baby. Coming out. France in France.
But if they do try and compete, they probably will surrender. It's a French thing to do, right? Sorry, Angela.
I love Angelo. He's a savage. Yeah, he's a good dude. He's listening to this right now at the gym. Keep pumping out those reps, Angela. Keep pumping out those reps. Shout out to you, brother. Yeah. So, like, you know, wrap up for 2020. It was a cool year again. We pretty much started the business from scratch at the beginning of the year. We did have clients at the end of last year, but we pretty much let them all go so that we could change direction. There was, like, one or two holdovers that we had, but one of them lasted until, like, August, but the other one I think we let go in February or March. So, yeah, we've pretty much brought this business from scratch. So, like, I'm pretty proud of what we've done this year.
Oh, yeah. If you would have asked me a year ago, do you think you can be in the position you are now, I would have said no.
Yeah, I would have said no as well, which is kind of cool. But I think that we can be in a much better position when we're having this conversation on this podcast in a year from now. We've also. I'm pretty sure that we would have hit 10,000 downloads on the podcast by the time that this comes out. Well, we definitely would have because we're about like five downloads away, so it's probably already there, which is really cool. So like our last podcast got like 3000 downloads or something like that. So we really appreciate everyone listening and hope that you guys are enjoying the content that you guys continue to. None of you fuck subscribe though. I can't tell you that much.
I feel like we say this every week.
Yeah, you pieces of shit. Make sure people are probably just not subscribing just to spite me.
Yeah, that's because you get so worked up about it. I would.
I stay awake at night knowing that you. You the one listening right now, the one with your listening to this. You don't subscribe. It keeps me up at night. So, you know, just so you know, it affects my children. But yeah, so it's been super interesting. I'm super pumped for what 2021 is going to bring. I thought 2020 was a weird year. But hey, if we can grow like this during a weird year because, you know, it's been odd, hopefully 2021, the world goes back to normal and we can start to live life normally again and just kind of go through and do our things and do some travel, see some other parts of the world again because we haven't been outside the country in a long time.
So yeah, there'll forever be an asterisk next to in the history books. Next to 2020.
Exactly. If 2020 was a coach, right?
Hmm. I'm sure I could name more than one. Anyway, I think we should leave it there and so, yeah.
