There's an old adage of like what's called the yes train. If you ask nine questions that all have a yes answer, then the tenth will be yes. So they'll go.

Would you like the red or the blue shirt?

I want the red shirt.

Do you like the small or the medium?

I'll take the small.

Would you like five pack or ten pack?

I'll take a ten pack.

Would you like to pay with Visa or would you like to pay with MasterCard?

So like, I'm giving you options where it might be a yes or like an affirmative. That's treating people like they're stupid. You're assuming that like they'll just say yes out of, I don't know, like sheer awkwardness or something like that because they've agreed to a series of things. But that's not reality. The non laydowns don't do that.
