The 3 things you need to be the Best Sales Rep in your industry.

Matt from Sales Sniper breaks down what separates top salespeople from the rest: hunger, drive, and desire to succeed. He uses personal stories and analogies to show why motivation and urgency matter more than tactics.
Hey guys, what's up? Matt from Sales Sniper here. And today we are going to talk about the hunger that you need in order to be the best salesperson in your industry. So there are three things you need to be the best salesperson in your industry. The first is time. The second is just straight up sales chops. And the third one is hunger. And today we're going to talk about the hunger that you need in order to be the best salesperson you can be. Alright, guys, don't forget to like subscribe and hit the notification bell and cue the intro. All right, guys, so I want to explain what hunger is and what I mean. It's drive, it's desire, it's the need to win, okay? So be the best. So what I want to do is I want you to imagine this. You're a fat little kid and you hear the ice cream truck, hear that faint little tingle in the background. You hear it and you're like, oh, I could use, use an ice cream right now. It's a nice, beautiful summer's day. You're playing hockey, playing football, whatever it is you're playing. And you hear that and then pulling away, pulling past you. And you're running, you're running like a fat little wheezing kid, right? But it's kind of like that half jog, half walk run because like, you know, you want it, you want it, but you know the guy's gonna slow down, you know you're gonna get it. So that's, that's you running towards your goals, right? Fat little kid towards an ice cream truck. Not exactly Usain Bolt. Now what I want you to picture is your house on fire and you running out of it. That's me running to my goals. My house is on fire. You ever seen people running of a burning building? It's a very different thing. Okay, what we need you to do is I need you and this video to burn your house down so that we can get after it in the way that we need to get after it. Okay? One of my clients, Ryan Serhant, talks about this thing called crying because he didn't know how he was going to buy food or pay the rent, right? And that's his moment that he runs away from. For me, he was walking around the streets of Bondi trying to give away free body fat assessments, right? And just begging people to come join my gym. That's the moment for me that I run away from. And it's a powerful driver for me because I don't want to experience that again. I don't want to be $90,000 in debt again. I don't want to not have the ability to make the money that I want. I don't want to have any of that again. It drives me. It's the demon behind me that's making me run as fast as I humanly can and then some towards what I want. Why do we need that hunger? Why is it necessary as a salesperson or as an entrepreneur to have that? And there's a couple reasons. One, the guy behind you might have it. And if he has that hunger and you don't, guess what? He's gonna fucking eat you, right?
