This is a YouTube video titled "Why 'Number Verification' Doesn't Help When Outbound Calling" containing a discussion between two speakers about the inefficacy of phone number verification systems in preventing spam flagging and the challenges involved in managing phone numbers for outbound calling. The conversation critiques the business model behind number verification and the ongoing issues with spam flags.
You have a shitty.
Phone system that.
Allows you to do.
Stupid things which.
Causes you to be perpetually.
Spam flagged.
And then you buy.
These bullshit number verification things. And so number verification doesn't really do anything they say it does.
But like, if it did.
Then I would use it.
But like it's just.
An expense and.
Like there are ways to.
It's all about deflagging the number. It doesn't mean you can just do whatever the fuck you want on the number. If that number still acts the same.
Way, it will get.
Flagged again and again and again and again and again. And then you have to go through this massive paperwork process. But now everything is like super document printed for you.
So if you are.
Doing shitty practices, it's going to be extra easy to get you fined. And then that company had to vouch.
For you that's doing the verification and.
Now you're still doing shitty things. So they're just going to fucking dump you and then you're just going to get spam flagged anyway. And then you have to get new numbers and then get them verified and it's a whole fucking thing. And that's what they plan on. That's what they do it. That's what the business model is.
