This is a YouTube video titled "Why was I never told this? #shorts" containing a monologue or single-speaker discussion recorded in November 2021. The speaker discusses the relationship between marketing and sales qualification and disqualification processes to optimize client quality and sales efficiency. There is no indication of multiple speakers or involvement of Matt Ryder.
All right, man. So, like, what we need to do is we need to figure out whether there's like a qualification versus disqualification process. Like, if you have to think of the marketing, like if the marketing is going to push everyone through so they have like a qualification, so they're trying to push everyone into the sales process, then our sales process has to be disqualifying, right? So we have to push everybody out of it. Otherwise we're going to end up with like super low close rates, but also really, really, like low quality clients because we're just pushing everyone through. Whereas if they have a disqualification funnel, so if they're pushing everybody out, they're doing the whole like, hey, if you're not making 30k a month, this isn't right for you type stuff. Then what we have to do as a sales team is we have to have a qualification process where we push everybody through, because that core set of leads that comes into our process will be like the ideal avatar. So we just need to make sure that we work with a marketing team to make sure that we have opposite. But working together marketing and sales processes, does that make sense?
