Matthew Ryder breaks down why business partnerships fail. Most collapse because partners have misaligned goals or never plan an exit strategy. The key is designing the partnership with an end in mind from the start.
Sort of video that Taylor Welch put out. And it was pretty interesting. And there was a couple of stats and there was like most business partnerships finish not because you kind of go in different directions or not because you have arguments about the business. Usually what happens is one person keeps developing, keeps going, one person doesn't, and they just get left behind. That's the most common one. You have different goals and outcomes that you want in life. The business partnerships that go a long way are the ones where the two people are in alignment for the end goal. Your business partnership will probably fail. It just is what it is. So you have to design it with an exit in mind.
