This is a YouTube video titled "You Don’t Wanna Start a Business if You’re Poor...🙅♂️ | Matthew Ryder" featuring Matthew Ryder sharing advice on business growth and the importance of financial security for effective decision-making, recorded in September 2023.
I don't recommend trying to grow a big business until you're actually kind of rich. The key to being a great business owner or being a good CEO, whatever, is to be safe. There's a reason why the General is not on the battlefield because that person needs to be making large scale strategic moves and isn't encumbered by bullets flying at him. If you have bullets flying at you, your decision making process will be very immediate and visceral. Which is why hard to grow a business if you're poor.
