Max Henry's company helps small sellers ship faster by giving them real-time order visibility and consolidating their inventory in regional warehouses. They aggregate fast-moving products, ship full truckloads every two to three days, and stock near customers for quick delivery. The model doesn't work for slow-moving items.
What we technically do is, A, we have invested a lot in terms of tech and visibility with all these sellers because these are small sellers, right? Not very tech savvy. So how can we make sure that when we receive orders, real-time processing can be given to them so that they are faster, right? So the integration of technology, that is one bit which we have worked on to ensure that they are faster, they are still sustainable. The second thing is, which Ali also said, that in our warehouses we have given them leasing spaces basically, right? Because there are 2 problems which happens when we take this approach. Number one, when you push them to do faster, right, there's a transport cost and most of the times they will not be able to fill their vehicles, right? And in part truckload, if they have to send it to your facilities or to the customers, it doesn't make economical sense and it's not sustainable at the end of the day, right? So what we tell them is you aggregate your high-moving Japans, put it in the truck, send it to our warehouses from where the delivery is at an aggregation point basically, from where the last-mile deliveries take place. And you can send it in every 2 to 3 days so that you are able to send a full truckload. So your economics is not a problem. At the same time, as the inventory is placed in the forward, the speed is not a problem because It is closer to the customer and now I can do a faster delivery as well. So these are certain things which we have been doing and which is working out for us as well. But I agree that for the products which are not very high selling and where, you know, the demand density is not that great, it is not feasible. It is stupidity just to do it.
