Businesses that silo departments just push problems around instead of solving them. When teams don't talk to each other, other parts of the organization have to compensate. An integrated ecosystem where teams collaborate actually addresses challenges.
Why is it important for that ecosystem to be built? It's really our businesses are living, breathing organisms and we cannot silo individual portions of our business and say that— and when we have problem statements from individual departments or teams, it doesn't mean that those problem statements only exist and can only be solved for that team because you are actually just kicking the issue upstream or downstream and somebody else has to pick up the slack if you don't have an integrated ecosystem that actually communicates with one another.
