Short Spanish interview excerpt. Elena asks Millán Ludena how the 2010 rescue of the 33 Chilean miners affected him. Millán explains that after watching a documentary he researched the claim that the miners were rescued from the "deepest point on Earth," found instead a deeper mine in South Africa (3,563 m vs the Chilean miners at 720 m), and conceived an endurance/documentary project: running a half marathon (21 km) inside the deep mine and connecting that depth with the point closest to the sun on Chimborazo (~6,000+ m), producing a documentary titled From Cuarto San del Núcleo del sol that links ~4,000 m down and ~6,000 m up (about 10,000 m overall) to illustrate perseverance and choosing to attempt the nearly-impossible.
