I want to explain to you a little bit further first about why sugar is making you want more sugar. So when you are digesting foods that are breaking down to sugar, even if they're not sweet, well, what's happening is that it's digesting in your gut and your gut is growing the bacteria that is actually wanting more of those sugary foods. So you're growing this bacteria that is making you crave for more sugar. And so instead, if you start realizing the foods that don't break down to sugar, you, you won't grow that bacteria. You'll actually transform your gut biome and you'll start craving healthy foods. And that's why it's so incredibly important for you to know which foods are breaking down to sugar. Now, secondly, studies have been shown that when we were went through the COVID 19 crisis, that people that had more sugar, that had more unhealthy diets, their immune system was lowering and they were getting Covid more often. And so you'll even find that if you're having an unhealthy diet or for people that have unhealthy diets, they get sick, sicker more often. Their immune system isn't as strong because sugar is suppressing a strong immune system. Sugar also creates lots of bad diseases and things like dementia. You can be susceptible for Alzheimer's more often. And this is why a lot of people actually want to get off sugar, because they know that dementia runs in their family and they don't want to be in that situation. They want to decrease their chances. Sugar will make you more sick more often. And then finally, the reason that you really want to take out sugar is because when you take out sugar, you reduce your belly belly fat first. And if you're like many people who struggle with your belly fat, well, what's happening is that when your blood sugar rises by eating foods that are breaking down to sugar, that's creating an insulin spike and it's creating storage of fat in your body. And it often goes to our belly first. And that's coming from those foods that are breaking down to sugar. You'll also see if you are in peri or menopause, what's happening is that our hormones are declining or have declined, and so we're creating more of that belly fat during this time period because our hormones are shifting. And so you're going to experience more of that belly fat first. So it's more important than ever to really understand what foods you're eating have sugar in it so that you can bring those down or stop those foods and then decrease your belly fat as well.
