Bonnie, 74, lost 14 pounds in 8 weeks after feeling depressed about her summer clothes. She talks about the body changes, newfound confidence, and how her husband joined her in eating healthier.
I think I was probably eating even more because I was feeling depressed about how I was looking. And the more I brought my summer clothes out and tried them on and they were too tight, I got more depressed and ate more.
To summarize where you are so far, and this is like, within the eight weeks, you've lost 14.1 pounds, two inches from your bust, two and a half inches from your waist, an inch from your hips, one and a half inches from your thighs, and you've also gone down from a four, six to just like a four in your clothing. And you are really starting to. I mean, it's like your body has completely shifted. So. So tell me, like, how do. Do you see and feel these changes and how does it. How. How are you feeling about it?
I do. I feel a lot better about myself. I'm getting my confidence back. I feel good when I get dressed up. So, yeah, feeling like the old me. I think I'm eating better. I'm eating more satisfying foods. And the snacking are. Instead of grabbing taco chips or a piece of candy, I'll grab carrots and celery. Yes. And my husband's looking at me and he's saying, I need to do this with you. And he did. He's been doing smoothies with me, and his belly's been going down.
