Welcome to Quick Cardamom Iced Tea. Now, I love iced tea because it's tasty, refreshing. It has zero calories and zero added sugars. I'm going to teach you today how to make an iced tea that's so quick and so delicious, it will become your go to drink when you're at home. To make iced tea, follow these simple steps. Open a tea bag, put it in a glass, add enough water to just barely cover the tea bag. Now, this is going to become heated, and you're going to need to cool it down later. So you want it to be as little water as possible. You also want this base to be very potent. Now, we're going to heat this up in the microwave for 20 seconds. All done. Now, this is exactly the color that you want. A dark brown. If it isn't this color, put it in for five or 10 more seconds. You squeeze the tea bag out with the spoon and discard it or set it aside. If you want to refill, you can use the same teabag for two cups. Now, you add ice and fill the rest with water. You add a lemon, and then you add a cardamom pod in. You want to crack it so it just opens up and the pods are almost coming out, and put it in there. One goes a long way, so that's all you'll need. Now just mix it around. Looks great. Now let's take a taste. Mmm. Refreshing and delicious. Now, a cup of iced tea has about a quarter of the caffeine that coffee does. And with the cardamom, it really helps your digestion. So it's a perfect drink for lunch when you need a little bit of extra energy, but not the jolt that coffee gives you. I hope you enjoy.
