This is a YouTube video titled "CUMIN CORIANDER FISH" created in July 2025 featuring a single speaker named Sam who demonstrates how to prepare and cook a cumin coriander fish dish, sharing tips for meal prepping and healthy eating. The content is a cooking tutorial focused on easy meal preparation and flavor enhancement techniques.
You. When I come home from work, I just want to relax. The last thing I want to do is to cook a meal for myself and my family. One of the secrets that helps me stay healthy is to have food already prepared ahead of time. One of the go to dishes in my home is cumin coriander fish. It's super easy to make ahead of time. It's high in protein, you low in calories and fat, plus it's very flavorful. I use a mini food processor to grind the vinegar, ginger, garlic and spices into a fine paste. So I add it all in there and using cumin and coriander actually has additional benefits. They both help aid in digestion and cumin actually is a great source of iron as well as vitamin E which helps keep your skin fresh and youthful looking. Now we're going to grind it up. You just blend it for about 30 seconds until it's chopped pretty fine and it'll be a liquidy paste just like that. Now we're going to pour the marinade all over the fish and mix it all up. We're going to let this sit in the fridge for a minimum of four hours if you have it and it can even stay up to overnight. I put the fish into a baking pan so that once it's done marinating, all I'm going to do is pull it out and put it straight into the oven so it makes it just a little bit easier. Now it goes in the fridge. The fish has marinated in the fridge for several hours, so now it's ready to cook. I set the oven at broil and I'm going to cook it for 17 minutes. After the first 10 minutes, I'm going to come and turn all the fish over. The fish has been cooked on both sides and it's a dark brown color and it's really tender when you touch it, so that's how you know it's cooked. Now to seal in the flavor, I'm going to add it to a skillet that has heated olive oil in it and cook it just for a few minutes to give it that extra touch. Now you could do all of the steps until this step the night before or on a Sunday when you have time. And then when you come home from work, all you do is heat it up in the skillet. And if you have even less time, don't feel bad about warming it up in the microwave either. I do it all the time. So we're just going to cook it until it gets to be a little bit of a darker color. And I'm cooking it on a medium or a high heat. Actually going to turn it up a bit. And I'd say cook it for around five minutes. The cumin, coriander fish smells and looks so good. I can't wait to taste it. I'm serving it with black bean salad, strawberries, and celery. All of these are also really easy to make. Mmm. The cumin and coriander really add a really nice burst of flavor and the fish is cooked perfectly. It's so easy to make this fish and the fact that you just broil it means that you have so much hands free time to do other things that you need to do. See you next time, Sam.
