A personal reflection on struggling with meal planning and restaurant decisions, and how those struggles affected health and fitness results. The speaker shares what made ordering difficult when eating out or traveling.
But what I really struggled with was planning. And if I don't plan my lunch for the next day and pack my lunch for the next day, well, I'll just go to Chipotle, which is low carb. But I don't feel good after I eat a whole burrito bowl. And I wasn't seeing the results I was seeing before when I was eating the food I made because there's all this salt which my body earlier sauns do and there's all these. There's so much food there that you don't really realize. And so really what sold me was the plan and also the knowing what to do when you're at a restaurant, knowing what to do when you're traveling. Like, I just didn't really know. I just tried to do the same things in those situations that I do at home and that doesn't really work. You need to have a different plan for those situations than you have for your at home situation.
