Foot pain is so widespread that it affects between 60 to 80% of people worldwide. There are three main reasons, and the last factor is the most important factor. Number one, footwear is designed for fashion. First, function often gets the backseat. The second reason is that we're living very repetitive lifestyles. We stand for too long, we sit for too long, and then we binge exercise in between. Think about surfaces. Tiles, floorboards, concrete. These surfaces are very harsh on human organic tissue.
