5-Minute Morning Motivation - Start Your Day Right! (Inspirational Video)

A short motivational YouTube video featuring a conversation between Sabri Suby and Grant Cardone about entrepreneurship, discipline, and building success through mindset, sacrifice, and daily routines. Speakers share origin stories (starting with little money), emphasize extreme discipline (early wake-ups, repetitive tasks, streamlined habits), and argue success is ~20% mechanics and 80% mindset.

So I was broke when I started the business. No more than $50 and an old computer that my girlfriend had bought me, who is now my wife. And you know, no, no balling buddies or rich uncles or people just handing me money like I had no money. So I had to use the opposite of money being sweat equity. I had to use my raw power in terms of my human function. I rolled up my sleeves 150 cold calls a day and desperately just called strangers to get them as clients. For me, it was very cha because I was doing the selling by day and then I was doing the client fulfillment work by night. But how do you manage Cardone Capital, Cardone University Enterprises, and still have the time to hit the gym, to have the girls to do it all?
It's easy once you decide, hey, I want it all. 10x is about having it all. It's not having, it's not about getting rich. It's not about being a health nut.
It's.
I want every part of my life to work.
I'm not one of those people that say you can't have it all. Like, if your business is doing well, then your relationship is going to be a shambles or the relationship with your parents or your health and your wellness. Like, no, you can have it all. But you really do need to make sacrifices about what it is that you're willing to tolerate and what are those ships that you're willing to burn in order to get you to be balanced. Right. I don't like, I look at success as being like a polymath. I want to be well balanced in all different areas. I don't just want be like a really good marketer, be a horrible father. You can't just work 12 hours a day and ignore your health and your relationships and expect to have a flourishing business. You need to look in the mirror and have a look at like, what fires are you willing to walk through? Right. What complexity are you willing to solve? What are you willing to give up in order to get to where you want to go and then ruthlessly execute on those things? But don't think that you can just get ahead and get all of those things, things without being really disciplined, without making sacrifices. But you can't have it all. They tell you, right?
Okay, well, because they gave up on having it all.
Exactly.
The quitters all have bad advice. Quitters have bad advice. They quit and now they're trying to make sense of why they don't have it all.
So if you make a promise to yourself in the night that you're gonna wake up at 4am in the morning and go for a run. By God, you better keep that in the morning, right? Cause otherwise you're starting your day off with a lie. It's that like little bitch inside your head that's getting you into like a rear N naked choke and just choking you out before the day's even begun. A business is typically just a reflection of an individual and their own disciplines and their own standards of what to live by. Right. You'll see me, I only wear black T shirts. Like I don't want to have the decision fatigue. I don't want to be waking up and wondering what I'm going to be wearing. Like, I'm very simplistic in that approach. So I try and just engineer a life that's very streamlined. So I am disciplined and I don't need to wait for motivation to dawn on me. Successful people do all the things that unsuccessful people aren't willing to do, right? And everybody is self made, but only the successful people are willing to admit it. And understanding that like where you are right now is as a result of the decisions that you've made throughout your life. You know, there is nothing that you can't achieve if you are committed enough. And the thing that most people aren't willing to do is they're not willing to, once that they have eyed the target and they know what it is, they're not willing to do everything that it takes to actually get there. They like the idea of the target. But you are going to need to cross rivers, cross mountains, slay dragons, walk through fire in order to get to where it is that you want to go. And you have to pay the price. You need to become somebody that's worthy of being successful and not wishing that success would come to you and that the universe owes you something. The universe doesn't owe you shit, right? You get what it is that you push, shove, scratch and claw for. And by being disciplined. So if you're at a point right now where you're thinking like, I'm not confident, I like, you know, I'm having a really hard time. Do not feel sorry for yourself, right? That's the very first step, right? Just let that pain sting you to your core and use that as fuel to go out there and get everything that it is that you want. And before we dive into the weeds and the tactics and all those kind of things, I really want you to stop for a moment and just to think about, you know, why do you want to do this? Why do you want to go out on your own and travel into the unknown and do this and really think about what is that thing that's driving you? What is it that you're trying to achieve? Are you trying to achieve financial freedom? Do you want to be location independent and really get clear on what that is and what is deep down inside the thing that is going to motivate you and keep you going when times get tough? Inevitably they do. They get tough in whatever you do. And you really need to be clear about what is that thing that's driving you. And you want to think about having your whys so big that the hows become easy. I find that people really get so caught up in the mechanics and the latest hacks and tactics and kind of productive workflow software to use. But success really boils down to it's 20% mechanics and 80% mindset.
