Business is hard until you do this

Alex Hormozi explains that many businesses underperform because they sell to the wrong (volatile, low-value) customers. He describes symptoms (structural churn, frequent cancellations, excessive support demands, price compression, reputational damage) and quantifies impacts via LTV, CAC, and payback period/cash conversion cycle. The recommended cure is to pick a better customer: run a customer profitability analysis, define an ideal customer profile (ICP), realign offer/positioning/pricing and implement qualification to 'say no' to bad customers, and transition the customer mix over time (including temporary revenue contraction and possible staff reductions) to build a scalable, higher-margin business. He also references the $100M scaling roadmap at acquisition.com and workshops as resources.
