Thanks for holding scale and sales.
Hi, Caleb. I was calling to get some information on a pre owned vehicle that's on the Internet.
Sure.
It's a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
What was your name?
My name is Tom.
Tom. Yeah, it is here.
Roughly how many miles are on that one?
You got 95K, 95, 815.
Okay, 95, 815. Give me one second.
Sure.
Okay, number one, guys, the intro. Took him a minute to get my name. Hey, hope you're having the best day of your life. This is Andy. It's like right out the gate, people got to have a really good intro. Transactional intros are dead. So I gave him a 5 on that rate of speech. I like the way this guy's talking. He's moving quick. It doesn't sound like he's sitting down having a good day. Let's see if he does a good job painting the picture. Okay. Sorry about that. Now you said you traded for this?
Yeah. This one was a trade in. Let me look at the. I don't know if you had a history report there on the lake.
You saw it. Let me look the history report. Paint the picture. How nice this thing is. Oh, my God. When this thing come in, 1 to 10, it was an 11.
And then a personal vehicle. No accidents, no title discrepancies. Bought a Tacoma Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram in Tacoma, Washington originally. Looks like they were doing basic maintenance.
Okay, cool, Cool. Well, number one drives good. It sounds like it's got a good carfax on it. And you said the miles were what again?
95K?
Yeah, I was really wanting to stay under 70,000 miles.
Yeah. Tom, do you want me to keep my eyes out for something in that ballpark or is it just jeeps? Are you open to anything else?
Well, no, this is the one I liked.
Okay, well, sorry you didn't have lower miles. I wish I could help a little more.
Let's train them. Okay, so let me ask you a question. When someone calls on a vehicle, and I'm only asking for myself because it sounds like you've been doing this for a while. How long have you been selling for?
22 years.
Okay, in 22 years, when I said the miles are a little too high, you didn't really have like an objection strategy to kind of help me justify why having more miles is a good thing. So I would say this. If the vehicle had lower miles, you would have to spend more money, wouldn't you agree? I mean, wouldn't we agree with that?
You would have had to done this service eventually, too.
Yeah, but you would have had to spend more money, though, and spend the work on the service, but you would have had to spend more money because lower miles equals more money. Wouldn't you agree?
Correct.
Okay, cool. Number two, wouldn't you rather spend less money on a vehicle, especially now that it's 2026? I mean, this is a 2016. I mean, these vehicles are rated to run 300,000 miles at least in 2016. I mean, this vehicle literally has an easy 200,000 miles left to run on it if it's taken care of for sure. Okay, so. So with that being said, all the depreciation has already been taken into. I'm going to give you a shot to close me right now. Okay? If you can repeat back to me what I just said to you, you got yourself a deal. Go.
All I want to know, Tom, is when you can be here.
That's it. That's it, man. You failed 22 years. They sound like dog poop.
