A short YouTube presentation (monologue) about handling sales objections by "finding the area of opportunity" inside an objection. The speaker gives a concrete role-play (calling "Loretta") showing how to acknowledge an objection, ask clarifying questions to expose a gap (e.g., "already have somebody"), and then use that opening to keep the conversation going. The talk uses a house/door metaphor (locked door → other entry) to frame the tactic: when one entry is blocked, look for another way in to the opportunity.

Understanding the objection that's in front of you, do you have an area of opportunity to expose in that objection to now open up the gates for questions or add some value? Because if you can do that, you can buy yourself time. You can stay within the clothes. You can also do that even on a small one. Even if you're like, I call Loretta. And Loretta's like, hey, I'm not interested. Hey, Loretta, listen, I completely understand. I wouldn't expect you to be interested. You know nothing about me or what we do. Would you say that's fair? Yeah, that's kind of why. Okay, awesome. Cool. Hey, take a couple of seconds. I'll explain exactly who we are, what we do. I'm back into it after I explain exactly what I am. I mean, who I am, what I do. Yeah, no, I'm just still kind of not interested. Completely understand. Out of curiosity, is it just the fact that you don't need digital marketing or you already kind of have someone for that? Yeah, the fact that we already have somebody for that. Perfect. Guess what I just did. I now have just created an opportunity and exposed the gap, right? It's like, oh, I can't enter this building from this entry. Guess what. There's probably another door. Probably. Probably a gate. I just got to figure out, how do I get into this house now, right? I'm not speaking from personal experience. I have never done this publicly. I know this is a call recorded. Listen, I am a good person. My record's plain. No worries. But that's basically what you're doing, right? When you're looking at a rejection, it's like, okay, cool, this door is locked. Awesome. Is there another door that I can get to in order to see if I can get into it, I still got to ultimately get to the place I need to be inside the house, which obviously is like getting them on a call, getting a closed deal. And there's going to be plenty of the doors I got to overcome. But to even get into the opportunity, I got to figure out what is the first door, how do I first get inside? And the way I do so is by exposing something in their objection. So figuring out where is that open opportunity for you is going to be very important.
