YouTube video transcript (Sabri Subhi) offering sales/business motivation and practical advice: prioritize commitment and execution over passive ‘manifesting’ of outcomes; set a clear vision but focus daily on the specific metrics and actions required to reach it. The speaker frames this during the Melbourne COVID lockdown and includes a closing call-to-action to like/subscribe.

Founder Sabri Subhi joins me now in the studio. I really look at business as an incredible vehicle to really, like, make good and make change in the world. And it just comes down to, like, how great do you want to be in your role? What is it that you want to achieve? What is it that you want to do? And then coming down to the stuff of, like, how committed you are to getting there. I look at this on, like, where I'm at right now and what's going on. It's like, you know, the economy is free falling, so to speak. There's a lot of businesses closing down. An easy thing would be to start pulling back on ad spend, to start hoarding up a little nest egg to kind of survive. But I'm not doing that because I've got a goal that I want to do. I got a goal of what I want to hit. And I don't care what I have to do to get there right. That's just how I think about it. And I never, ever focus on, like, just getting to the outcome. I focus on what it takes to get there, not on getting there right. And that's a little bit conflicting to some of the other things that I tell you guys, but I'll unpack what that looks like, right? So you think about where it is that you want to go. That's your vision board, that's your why and all that kind of stuff. You need to do that to get yourself really pumped up and to get yourself to go after it. But then after you've done that, then you've got to stop thinking about that number and that place where you want to be all the time. And you need to focus on what it actually takes to get to that place. You're not always just living in that place because you need to be in execution mode. You need to think about what does it actually take to get there. So it might be like three times a week you think about that, or every morning you think about that. But once you stop thinking about that, it's just bang, violent exit execution on what needs to be done. It's not like this is where I want to go. If I just think about it, I'm going to manifest it. That's absolute bullshit, right? You have to think about it and want to manifest it and then figure out exactly down to what is that metric that needs to happen in order for you to get there. What does that outcome look like? Hey, guys, we're coming to you from lockdown in Melbourne. If you enjoyed this video, please like and subscribe. Share it with a friend.
