This week on hey Sabri, I'm going to be answering Abhishek's question. He has written, hey Sabri, what would you do to get your first few clients with no money in your pocket in 2020? It is a question that I get asked very, very often. You know, people say, would you be doing cold calling? Like, what would you recommend that I do to really go out there in a marketplace, regardless of what's going on with the economy and just get clients? So it's a very fitting question. And the answer that I would give you to this is what I would do if I was starting at ground zero today and I had absolutely no money to run ads, I didn't have any contacts, I didn't have my email list. I would use a strategy that I call pipe bombs and what a pipe bomb is. It's a video screen recording video message that you would do and you'd send it to somebody's email or to their LinkedIn onto their Facebook. And realistically what I would do is it's basically, you know, cold calling in the 21st century, especially in 2020, where you basically isolate a whole bunch of prospects that you think that you could help. Either you're a digital marketing agency, you know, you'd be looking online, whether it's on Google Ads, the organic search results on Facebook groups, wherever it is that your prospects are. And then I would create like a three to five minute video of me actually delivering value to that prospect and showing live on that video exactly how I can help them by actually helping them in that video. And then I would send that across to them and be like, hey, this is just one of the strategy. I've got six of them that I've outlined for you that could dramatically improve the amount of conversions, the amount of traffic, the amount of customers that your website generates. And I would love to spend 10 minutes just running you through those completely for free. And if you like them and if you get value from them, I can tell you about, you know, how much I charge and what it would be to work with me for something that's most, that's both mutually beneficial for us. And I would send out 20 to 30 of those videos every single day. And I would have a client within the first one or two days. I hope that helps you. Abhishek. Go get them.
