You want to achieve more in a year than most people do in their entire life. These are the five steps that when implemented, will not only put you on the path to becoming a millionaire, but will also allow you to level up as a person. And that's not simply because of the level of focus that it unlocks, but also the person that you will become by following them. Poverty starts in the mind. We all hear, I can't afford it, I don't have the time, I'm too tired. And these statements aren't just excuses, but they're actually shaping the reality of the people that say them. And you can either have excuses or you can have results, but you can't have both. Which brings me to step number one. So I started my first business when I was 22 years old and it was a failure. But it wasn't a failure due to a lack of effort because I was selling a product that the market simply wasn't starving for. I ran businesses, I ran some businesses into the ground. I sold a business and I made my first million when I was 24. But I never had real success. I. Until I just disappeared for a year and entered into a phase that I now call ghost mode. Because you see, your attention is being drilled, farmed, and just robbed from you every single day. The five biggest companies in the world exist purely by trading in attention. And they employ literally the smartest minds in the world to come up with all types of schemes to rob you of your attention. So you must protect it with your life. Because unless you do, you are always gonna be trad short term comfort and distraction for the things that you really want in life. And the true price of anything is the amount of life that you need to exchange for it. Most people think that checking their phone, you know, 100 times a day is just an innocent vice. And they don't really realize the cost that they are paying by doing so. And all the personal growth and all the things that they want in life that they trade in exchange for that. Because we only have so many units of time and if you spend it just doing mindless shit, where do you think you're ever going to spend the time in order to focus on those things that truly matter to you? Which is point number one, the power of intentional isolation. Okay, so now you know the value of preserving your most valuable asset. This brings us to step number two, which is the exact steps that you need to take in order to do so. So I started my business King Kong when I was 28 years old. And I didn't know it at the time, but I was about to enter into ghost mode. And it would go on to be the most savage period of my life. I had been fucking around with all these different types of business models in my twenties. I had done E Commerce, I had done the whole four hour workweek. I had done all of it. And I was really just bouncing around from one shiny object to the other. There was a very distinct moment. I just gotten married and it was kind of my line in the sand moment. And I had to pull myself aside and have a very serious conversation with myself of like, dude, you need to stop fucking around with all this mindless shit. You need to go underwater for the next 12 months and put the blinders off and not come up for oxygen. Regardless, just become an utter savage on focusing on all these things, running through whatever obstacles come your way. And I became a maniac. I was working incredibly hard every single day. I was working like 18 hours a day, just completely obsessed with the task at hand. I used to wake up at 4am in the morning, go for a run, and then until 8:30am I would read and write sales letters every single day. Then from 8:30am to lunchtime, I would make 50 cold calls to businesses. I would be researching the different niches and markets that I was going to be calling and then I would call them after lunch. I would make a hundred cold calls to more businesses and then I would make probably another 50 to 100 follow up calls. And my whole goal was to send five proposals per day and land one client as a result of doing that. I would do that till around 5:30 and then I would work till late in the night actually delivering client work. I just repeated that every day. There was no weekend. I just worked like a maniac for a year straight before I came up for air. This was a season in my life where I experienced the least amount of balance than I've ever had in any other chapter in my life. But it was also a period of time that I experienced the most growth that I ever had as well. So this is what entering Ghost Mode looked like for me. And I'll show you the results that are generated in a moment. But first, let's look at what designing a ghost mode protocol would look like for you so that you can achieve more in a year than most people do in their entire life. This brings us to step number three. The world is divided into two groups of people. You have consumers and creators. And all wealth comes from creation. Consumption is very easy to do, and that's why so many people do it, while creation is very difficult, and that's why so few people do it. But creation is the only thing that will give you the dream life that you want. So while the masses are like dairy cows getting sucked into playing video games or just mindlessly scrolling social media, they don't understand that the less that you do, the less that you have, the more that you consume, the less that you create, because you're trading all the things that it is that you want in life for this mindless stimulation. Ghost mode is a circuit breaker. It's a period of time you can first think about what is important to you and then you can double down on attaining that. Okay, so let's look at the Ghost mode protocol. The first thing that you want to do is to plan your year of disappearing. So you want to plan on when you're gonna start it. And then the next thing that you want to do is to set clear goals with clear outcomes. Once you've defined those, you then want to list out everything that you are going to be creating that did not exist before entering into Ghost mode. Because we know that all wealth comes from creation. So we have to have a very clear set list of things that we plan on creating during this time. And then here comes the hard part. You need to cut out everyone and anything does not support you from hitting those goals. I'm talking about deleting all the social media apps from your phone, canceling your Netflix subscription, selling your television, then looking at all the different relationships in your life. And this is the really difficult one. Asking yourself the specific question, are these conducive and supportive of me hitting my goals? If the people that you're associating with in your life aren't helping you become a better person and reaching your goals, then what value are they truly bringing? And while that can be very harsh, you sometimes have to be a very extreme individual to get very extreme outcomes. You all know who they are. It's those people that you catch up with, and every time you catch up with them, they're complaining about the same stuff. They haven't made any progress. And they're not someone that is really on that quest for self improvement and working on something they're passionate about. It's mainly people that have an obsession and that have a passion for something, and it doesn't matter what it is. When they talk about something, they light up because they are extremely passionate about those things. And hanging out with those people, they give you energy. While the Other people, you go away from those relationships feeling drained of energy. But there is a deadly underbelly to these types of isolation protocols that no one really talks about unless you get it right. Then you basically end up just losing a year of your life and you end up broke and miserable unless you get this one crucial thing right. Which brings us to step number four. We are living in a day and age where there is endless information, but most people's dreams die of indigestion and not starvation because there is too much information. People get a great release of dopamine by learning shit that they're never ever going to use. They listen to three hour podcasts, they do all this stuff where they're just constantly collecting information. And because they are constantly in a state of consumption, they never produce or create, create anything. Knowledge is not power. Applied knowledge is wisdom, and wisdom is power. And you actually need to go out there and take action on the information that it is that you're consuming for you to ever be able to render that information and process it and turn it into wealth for yourself. Don't get me wrong, you can learn incredible skills by consuming the right information, but you can never really get wealthy by just consuming. You have to create because it's movement, not meditation. More dreams are killed by people not taking action than there are by people taking imperfect, violent action every single day. And that's step number four of creation over consumption. But everything that I've shared with you up until this point will be completely worthless unless you really grasp this fifth and final step. Even though you're going underwater for 12 months and you're completely myopically focused on the goal and what it is that you want to achieve over the next 12 months, you still need to course correct and take a look at the terrain every 90 days. How am I going with this ghost mode protocol? How disciplined am I being? What other areas, what other activities, what other things that I'm doing in my life that aren't conducive of me reaching this outcome? And am I on track to getting to that outcome? If the next 90 days were to look like the last 90 days, and the best way that I have found to do that is to bullshit a day with yourself on your calendar. You ideally go out into the forest, leave your phone at home, go out with a journal, and you just think. You think about all the things that you've created in the last 90 days, all the things that you've cut out, and you think about if you were to repeat those same actions for the next 90 days, would you be halfway towards hitting your goal. And if you're not, then you need to really look at the activities that you're doing in those time and then course correct. Okay, so now you know what to do. Now is the time to actually do. And I don't care where you are, how hard you're working, I want you to crank it up to another level. I want you to unlock a level that you didn't even know existed. And a word of warning, you are going to struggle a lot. It is extremely difficult. But it's that process of struggling and going through this that actually makes you a man. It's about focusing on actually doing and obtaining durable skills that even Outside of this 12 month period, you'll be able to take those durable skills in whatever path that you choose. So you have to be very intentional about the intensity that you're going to bring to the table. I want you to build a fire inside yourself so big and so ablaze that it would be unreasonable to for you not to hit your goals. Getting into a mode where you shut out all of the noise and all of the negativity and all the judgment that people who don't have the life that it is that you are trying to create will cast on you with unrelenting action. We're not talking about doing this for the rest of your life. We're talking about entering into a chapter and into a phase for 12 months. Living like others won't, so that you can live like others can't for the rest of your life. Like, subscribe and I'll see you in the next one.
