A short YouTube answer by Sabri Subhi responding to a viewer (Gregoris Alexandra) about how to maintain a consistently focused, effective attitude toward goals. Sabri advises delaying gratification, doing difficult/boring foundational work consistently, and concentrating on timeless fundamentals (e.g., sleep, diet, exercise for fitness; attention → persuasion → sales-call conversion for clients) rather than chasing changing tools or metrics.

Hey, guys. Sabri Subhi here. And today I'm going to be answering Gregoris Alexandra's question. He's written. Hey, Sabri, I see that you are calm and focused. You have an attitude that is serving you. Oftentimes I find myself from one attitude to the other, from feeling like a kid to feeling like I've got this shit. I could call these as weak and strong because the latter one makes me more focused on the real and more willing to do the stuff that will get me moving forward. So my question is, how are you yourself? How did you keep being like this consistently? So the results start showing up. How did you change from who you were to this version of you that is doing all of the things? Thank you in advance. This is a great question. The thing that you really want to get good at is delaying the gratification and chasing the difficult things that nobody wants to do and just focusing them on consistently. Because, you know, there's all these fundamental truths that are true and that are not going to change, right? And if you know what those fundamental truths are that aren't going to change, they're the things that you really want to focus on. You don't want to be focusing on the things that are always going to change. It's like the people that are focused on if they want to get fit, and they're looking at all these heart rate monitors and, like, looking at their glucose levels and looking at all these crazy stuff when, like, fundamentally, you need to make sure that you're sleeping, you're eating well, and you're exercising, you're burning more calories than you're taking in, Right? And they're the fundamental things that don't change. And it's the same with entrepreneurship, and it's the same thing with business. There's going to be traffic channels that change. There's going to be, you know, all these different funnels and policies that run out. But what are the things that aren't going to change? Like, if you're trying to get clients, the thing that isn't going to change it is that you're always going to need to know where the eyeballs and the attention are in your market. And then you're going to need to know how to persuade those eyeballs to turn into a lead. And then you're going to need to know what to say on the phone to those people to convert them into clients. And for me, it's fundamentally focusing on the basics and the fundamentals, doing the boring stuff and just focusing on those and not getting distracted by whatever else is going on out in the marketplace. I hope that helps you. If you enjoyed this video, please like and subscribe.
