How To Make 100+ Cold Calls Per Day (Sales Secrets Revealed)

Sabri Suby breaks down hitting 100+ cold calls daily: batch them into focused "hour of power" sessions with no distractions, use one-click dialing from a spreadsheet, and expect roughly one pitch per 30 calls. This week on heysubree, I'm gonna be answering Clayton Andrews question. He's written. Hey Sabri, can you give me some tips on how I can make upwards of 100 cold calls per day? I seem to only get to 70. I know there is a better method but unclear of how to nail it. I sell it service agreements, security programs, etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Sure. So basically the way that I would structure it if I was making cold calls is the way that I did in the beginning is you want to, before you start your cold calling activities for the day, if you want to do something that's going to get you in level 10 peak state where you're just literally got so much energy you're ready to get it after it as hard as you possibly can. The best way to do that is by exercising in the morning, having a light breakfast, having a coffee, listening to some G up music, and then having your list of prospects already on like a spreadsheet or in your CRM, whatever pipeline that you're using where you can just absolutely beat up the telephones and just hammer it out. So you're not trying to do both prospecting and calls, you're just getting in rhythm and you're getting in the call flow of exactly what you need to do. So you just have that list and you don't, when you sit down, you don't, you're not going to be like, okay, I've got to make cold calls for the next eight hours, right? Because if you do that, like it's just a very daunting task and it's hard to stay really productive. What you want to do is you want to do what I call an hour of power. So you want to do one hour of completely uninterrupted phone calls, no email phones on airplane mode. It's in the draw, it's out of sight, everything's away. You know, all tabs are closed except for what it is that you need to be doing. And then you just go, right, you just hammer the phone calls as much as you possibly can. You can make well over a hundred cold calls and you know the majority of those calls are going to be people telling you to get lost, go away, fuck off. All of that stuff that they do, a bunch of them are going to be hang ups and a huge majority of them are going to be voicemails, right? So it's you really, what you want to start doing is you want to start writing down how many cold calls do you need to make in order to do a pitch. And then you want to really study those numbers because you know you can get into a rut where you, you make a lot of phone calls and nothing's connecting. You don't get to pitch anybody. And then that takes like the wind out of your sails. But if you know down to a science that for every 30 phone calls that you make, you get to do a pitch, it's just a part of the process and you just hammer it out. So I would recommend doing, you know, jumping on the telephones, not doing email, not doing any of that thing first thing in the morning. Let's just say that it's from 8:30 till 12:30 and then you just go like a madman. You've got a couple of hours there up your sleeve and you should definitely be able to make more than 100 phone calls in between that time period. And if you're not able to, then you're definitely doing something wrong either. You're trying to prospect and find people to call and then you're making the call. That's what we call attention switching. You're switching in between two activities and you lose a lot of momentum when you do that. You want to have one phone focus that you do. There might be a list of 300 people that you need to call in that time. You just pick up the telephone and you jam. You don't. If you've got a physical phone, you don't put it down right. If you're calling on your mobile phone, you have it on speakerphone and it says bang, bang, bang, bang, dial. I would recommend a thing to get speed is just to get a headset and to get like a VoIP provider and then you put those, call those phone numbers into a spreadsheet, a Google sheet, and then it's just one click phone call and it's just like bang, bang, bang, bang, bang. And if you do that, you will definitely make well more than 100 phone calls a day. It's definitely possible to do. So it's really just about getting focused, eliminating all the distractions, blocking out all the noise, and being obsessively focused on just that activity of calling. Don't switch in between tasks and go out there and get after it. I hope that helps you. Hey guys, we're coming to you from lockdown in Melbourne. If you enjoyed this video, please like and subscribe.
