Responding On Price: How To Answer Price Questions on a Cold Call

YouTube video (Hey Sabri series) where Sabri Suby answers a viewer (Eduardo B.) asking how to respond when prospects ask about service cost. Hey, guys. This week on hey Sabri, I'm answering Eduardo B's question. Hey, Sabri, how do you respond when customers inquire about the cost of your service? Yeah, so when people, like, fill out a contact form or they'll hit you up or call you and they'll speak to someone, they're like, hey, like, I just want to find out how much you guys charge. You know, my advice is never. Well, first of all, like, what do you charge for what? Because you're going to be selling, like, a multiple bunch of different services. So the thing that you want to someone that's reaching out to you and the only thing that they're asking about is price. That is a price shopper. And the way that, you know, my whole methodology is obviously positioning yourself not to be the winner in that race to the bottom. And it kind of shows you where their motives are. And typically that might be a competitor or it might be someone that's, you know, in a situation where they don't have a lot of money, they couldn't afford your services. Because in order for you to find out whether or not this person is going to be a fit, you're going to have to get on the phone with them. And if the price is the only thing that they're concerned with, the chances are that you're not going to be the right solution. So the very first thing that you really want to do is be able to have a dialogue with them and find out if you're even going to be a fit for what it is that they do. So typically you would respond with, hey, like, you know, how much do we charge for what? There's obviously a bunch of different services. But before discussing price, we would need to even see if you would be a good fit for what it is that we do. And always push to get on the phone because it's just inefficient to go back and forth over emails. And you do get some people that are like, hey, like, don't call me. I just want to know the price over the phone. And you just ignore those people. You just let them know straight up, like, look, is I'm not able gonna be able to give you a price over the over. Over email, because I don't even know the problem that you're trying to solve for your business. If you're serious about, you know, getting a result or solving a problem or whatever it is that they want to achieve. Here's my number. Give me a call. Or what is your number? And I'll give you a buzz. Hey guys, if you enjoyed this video, make sure that you click the like button and subscribe.
