Short excerpt from a talk (YouTube video) advising entrepreneurs to specializeāeither by industry niche (e.g., car dealerships) or by service (e.g., lead generation, SEO). Speaker recommends building a solid foundation, prioritizing results and processes, accepting free trial clients to build proof, and being open to opportunities early before narrowing focus.

The first phase is to get good at whatever you're going to do. I became specialized and you can specialize in a niche like I'm specializing car dealerships. You could specialize in a service like just lead generation or just search engine optimization helping people show up when somebody types in car dealers near me or restaurants near me helping optimize their Google my business listing. All of those things can be a specialization. I would say don't cut corners or rush into sales and build on a solid foundation. Dial in the results, fulfillment and processes. What I did to start guys is I took free trial clients to build results, you know and then I use that to sell my first three cars. You want to say yes to everything and everyone in terms of opportunity because eventually you're going to have to say no to just about everyone and everything. Once you hone in and you start vertically scaling which I'll talk about in more advanced trainings.
