A short YouTube monologue (Nate Tilley) describing the difficulty and personal cost of starting and growing an online business. The speaker reports working 12–14 hour days, juggling clients, team, ads, and growth tasks, and investing additional time and money into mentors and programs to break a plateau. He references a clip from Layla Harmozi that resonated with him and closes with an encouraging but candid message: building a business is hard and unbalanced, but achievable.

Starting an online business is not as glamorous it seems. Guys, the last week I've literally been working like 12 to 14 hour days. I'm working with my clients, I'm working with my team, I'm working on ads, I'm working on growing my business. And I'll be honest, it's a lot like it's not a balanced thing. Like you can't half ass this. So for the longest time I felt like I was kind of in a plateau myself because I was comfortable with the results I was getting. But I realized I wanted to get to the next step and there was things I didn't know. So I, I've been investing extra time, extra money into mentors and programs and I've been investing myself into learning this. But guys, it's taken a lot out of me. I mean, I feel like I'm really unbalanced in my life and I think that's what it takes to grow a business. And I just watched this clip from Layla Harmozi and it speaks about this and I really resonated with it because. And I'll put it in my next video, but watch out for it. But like, it's not that easy running a business. Like, it's not that easy growing. Like it honestly is easier to clock in and clock out. But in the end, it's really hard to be an employee. It's really hard to be paycheck to paycheck. It's really hard to not be able to do what you want when you want to do it. And it's really hard to not be able to just live your life. So that's my TED Talk. If you want to do this, it's going to be hard, but you could do it. If I could do it, you could do it.
