A short YouTube clip by Nate Tilley (uploaded Oct 7, 2022) where the speaker summarizes an audit of a large niche brand's ad account. He finds the account spending about $15,000/month on ineffective ads due to poor targeting, messaging, and offers. He advises that instead of increasing ad spend, the brand should 'dial in' messaging, targeting, and the offer to get significantly better results while keeping the same budget.

Oh, my. Guys. So I just got done auditing a prospects account. Now, this is a humongous account. This is like a really big exotic brand that super niche down, but they're huge, okay? Nobody really knows who they are. And nobody knows who they are because they're spending about $15,000 per month on ads that are highly ineffective, okay? So if you have an ineffective, broken system or strategy, you're not going to get any results from it, and you're not going to understand why. But I literally looked back at what they're doing, and they're target is terrible, and their messaging is even worse. So not only are they spending all this money, they're spending it to reach whoever. And when it reaches whoever it reaches, the messaging doesn't even make any sense. So literally all this money that they're spending is ineffective. I told this to my client that all we need to do is dial in this and this and spend the same amount of money that we're spending on ads, and you're going to see a serious increase in results. So this is how I tell businesses that you don't have to spend more on advertising, you just have to spend smart on advertising, okay? So by spending the same amount of money that you're spending right now, you can actually increase your results significantly. If you just dial in your messaging, dial in your targeting, dial in your offer, and from there, you're gonna have a successful campaign. So make sure if you're spending money on campaigns, you're putting it somewhere where it's actually going to good use.
